So, the nail kit as a nail kit is pretty nice. The case and all the pieces are nice, the black is pretty classic and not cheap and all the cutting edges are really, really sharp. There are almost too many tools for me though and I kind of wish that there were instructions or a name or something for each tool just because it's really up to your imagination what to do with them. Am I using the right tool for cuticle work? I dunno but the job gets done well enough. The pimple tool is pretty interesting and once you know how to poke the spot and then use the loop to finish it is pretty cool. The nail file isn't as good as a nice sandpaper file, almost like it's too coarse to really even use but it'll work in a pinch. If you pair this kit with one of those multi-surface foam sanding sticks you can get a really nice manicure. TBH, I'd trade few tools for a mini version of one of those multi-surface things.

Nippers are sharp, so no tugging at hang nails. I cleaned mine with alcohol before using them, and I also clean them with alcohol after using them. No issues with the alcohol messing with the metal. Would recommend!

They are beautiful and pleasant to look at and to hold/use. Extremely sharp and holds it up. Best zit tool too. Extremely pointy and effective. I have bought this over a year ago and it's still like brand new. Don't buy just one because your child or even significant other will try to steal it, lol. And yes indeed a great gift idea for about anyone old enough. Again these tools are much sharper than anything I've came across, not safe for young. I used to buy a new set yearly and thrilled I have no need to buy another finally. But I do need one for my daughter soon, for the fact she is becoming of age.
