Printhead Cleaning Kit 200ML Inkjet Printer Head Cleaner Compatible for HP/Epson/Brother/Canon 8600 8610 8035 8710 6700 6900 / Epson 1430 2720 et-2720 et-2750, Kit 4

Kit came with everything shown on the add. Wished the feed tube from plunger to ink distribution was a little longer by 1/2" or so. Fingers reached placing over ink feed, but had to use a pair of forceps to keep tube inplace while pressing plunger. This was due to the cyan was severely clogged. After the solution dissolved the hardened ink, then there was flow going through. This worked very well on each of the other colors. Reasonbly priced. Much better than purchasing a new printer or printer head.

This was a very easy kit to use. Immediately I was able to get the old ink to loosen and flow from the print heads. I guess my only two reasons for marking 4 rather then a 5, was the fact that after flushing each head over 10 times the heads still not print properly. My question was the solvent strong enough.

The printer is now working great!

Pros:Liquid does remove a bit of dry ink but...Cons:.. do not expect to use it as there is no adapter for the head. You may be able to use the solution on the surface but you cannot use the syringe.Even though the package came sealed, the bottle had a little crack.It says it was compatible with the HP 6900 printers, but it is a lie. None of the tubes can connect properly.Other thoughts:Waste of money. I cannot use it. I have used other kits in the past with different printers and i have always been able to clean the printers. But not with this one. I have many years of experience in IT and i can tell you that this kit just wont work as they are missing parts.

To be fair, I'm not sure if it is this product, or my print head may be too far gone, or the fact that the instructions were minimal. It did not work for me. Since it didn't work, no value for the money. just not sure if it is the fault of the product or the print head. One color is jammed and will not print.

Easy to use good product

My new Epson printer was not printing black after an ink cartridge change. After doing a bit of research and finding out that I could clean or flush the printer nozzle out I decided to give it a try figuring that I had nothing to lose. This kit came with the items that I needed and following the easy directions I had success and my printer works great. I did however make one change. They recommended that I put a paper towel under the print head/nozzle to catch the excess cleaning solution. I used a ultra thin maxi pad instead. Might sound crazy, but hey they are made for catching fluid and the back was lined in plastic and over all more absorbent. More protection for my printer.

If you don't know why your printer isn't printing, try this before you go out and buy a new one. It's worth the investment even if it doesn't solve the problem. I had to repeat the process three times to get back to really good print quality, but it did the job and saved me from having to buy a new printer. I would suggest buying nitrile gloves. Its a messy process, and you might have to do it more than once, so you'll need more than one set of gloves. The kit comes with enough cleaning solution to clean the print heads several times.
