Our little ones love this book because it has both the touch and feel aspect and the peekaboo aspect of the lift the flaps. It really is like a 2 in 1 book. The quality of the book is really good, being a board book it is really toddler proof from some heavy handed play. The story is really good too. We loved it so much we bought another for our nephews. Honestly such a good buy. Would highly recommend for gifts for your own or for friends/family.

This is such a nice book for a baby that will be loved right into toddlerhood too. Our copy is well loved and showing its age but still has all its flaps despite being a free-play book that the children have access to all the time. Most of the other flap books have needed repair at some point but not this one! Gorgeous illustrations and sweet story for little ones - loads of chances for learning animal names and sounds, plus brings in counting. The textures are nicely varied and the scratchy thistle is a hit with my kids. It gets read about once a day at least by my 2yr old now. I've bought this copy for a friends baby's first birthday and am hopeful they'll love it too.

These books are great for young minds and are very age appropriate with sizing of interactive tabs and so forth and are very suited to little fingers. These are also part of the Usborne books and I highly recommend looking into these books for children

We love this book. I got it for my son when he was three and a half months and it's been a hit ever since. It's big and heavy but he can lift the pages easily and touchy the textures. There is so much to talk about in this book, so as an adult reading you don't have to do lots of work to try and make it more interesting. You can talk about the noises the animals make, what they are eating, where they live etc and little fingers can practise lifting the very durable flaps and touching the wide range of textures on display which my son loves to do. When the book is moved away he follows it. What more can I say? Just wish the other farmyard tales books were half as good.

The covers and the sheets inside are very thick. The windows inside are thin and my boy wanted to break them all and I stuck them with shells. Animals from the farm are presented, and some of them you can touch and pet as if they were real. It is quite heavy and bulky, but it is easy to hold, even a child can hold it by himself. The child likes the book a lot and always wants us to reread it because we learn about animals, what they eat and where they live, what they do all day and at the end of the book he shows a tractor that he is fascinated by.

Lovely little seek and find book. Would recommend to get your small child interested.

My 6 month old daughter has loved this book since she was about 4/5 months old. It has so many textures on each page, it is the best book of its kind I have found so far. There is a flap on each page as well which my daughter really enjoys opening and shutting. The only downside is that I don't expect some of the flaps to last too long as they are not made from as robust card as perhaps they could be but I would not let this put you off buying the book. I highly recommend this book!

My two kids - now 3 and 18 months - have loved this book since it was first received almost a year ago. The flaps are big enough for little fingers to turn (and rip unfortunately), the pages are quite thick so again easy for little fingers to turn and the "story" is quite good - we play "hide and seek" to find the animals under the flaps. Ours has been damaged as it was "read" on a daily basis so I think it might be time to get a new one. A very good book and purchase, would highly recommend it :)

Noch besser als gedacht. Viel zum Anfassen, verschiedene hochwertige Oberflächen und schön groß das Buch. Mama und Kind sind begeistert.

Usborne books have a wonderful quality about them - sized for adults and children alike, the colours are vibrant and this book is the hide and seek and the children get quicker at finding the hidden quack - you will enjoy reading it and when they outgrow, give it to a friend - it will last

El libro es muy bonito pero Amazon siempre peca de no describir bien los productos. La edad adecuada para el libro es para bebés o niños de hasta un año o como máximo año y medio. Tiene muchas ventanitas para abrir y muchas texturas. Está muy bien pero para mi niño de 2 años y medio no me sirve. Le compré el libro Lift the Flap Colours y ese sí es adecuado y sirve hasta para más mayor y además es precioso.

Mes filles (8mois et 27mois) aiment beaucoup les illustrations, très bien pour les enfants qui commencent à parler.

I gave this a 5 star rating because the book itself is excellent - the kids love it. (Hate it when people use the product review section to rate the seller!) Lots of textures and variety of when and where said textures occur. Very colorful. Great educationally in terms of counting, basic addition/subtraction concept, and animals. We read this one near daily. As an aside, I titled my review the way I did however, because after two purchases on amazon of used copies of this, I've encountered the same problem! Specifically, I selected books described as "good" - both times, from totally different sellers, flaps were missing/ripped off! This suggests to me that a)there is something about this book that makes kids a little too excited about the flaps and b)amazon really needs to find a way to regulate the qualifications of book conditions (i.e. "good" has a lot of different meanings I've come to find).
