Didn’t think I would be able to get a lead for my Cool Box, but Amazon came up tops. Thanks again for another brilliant purchase.

I bought this lead for use with our Coleman 12v powered coolboxes but they have a slightly larger connection plug. It isn't clear from the photograph that this is a 14mm plug but some coolboxes, including my Coleman, requires an 18mm plug which I only discovered while away camping. Before placing an order - check which size plug your coolbox requires.As for the plug and lead itself, it appears to be good quality (better than my old original lead) with a generous 2m lead and, if it fit my coolboxes then I have no doubt that it's a bargain. I've given it a 4-star rating based on this. Anything less would be unfair because it was my mistake for not realising they were not a standard one-fits-all product prior to ordering and there was nothing to indicate this in the product description (although there is on other pages where this same lead is advertised).I hope this review might help anyone else avoid making the same mistake. I have also uploaded photos of this plug beside my original plug to illustrate the difference in appearance and size.

hello the extension lead was ok, but the only problem which was my fault, was the plug was to big to fit into my cooler but i will keep it anyway.thank you mick

We have a 5 year old Halfords cool box and the power lead failed, second time in two years. Easy I thought, get another replacement lead from Halfords albeit the last one cost almost £20. Sadly not so easy as Halfords have stopped stocking spares and I wasn't particularly inclined to take up their suggestion of spending £55 on a new cool box!Having searched online, all recommendations pointed to this lead and I am very pleased to report it works perfectly. Frankly, it is a better fit than the Halfords original and, unlike the experiences of others, it allows our dual cooling/heating box to work perfectly normally with the switch set to the correct cold or hot settings. So for a very modest outlay, our not very old Halfords coolbox is back in action and working perfectly. Photos attached show connector type and aforesaid coolbox running happily with the new lead.Highly recommended....we've bought another one as a spare.

there is a fuse inside the housing, I don`t know why the seller wouldn't mention this but hey, plugged it into my mini fridge in my car it worked

Schnelle LieferungKabel hatte allerdings am Stecker für den Zigarettenanzünder eine kalte Lötstelle so das dort ein Wackelkontakt war.Das habe ich aber selbst wieder angelötet von daher kein Problem....Viel erschreckender finde ich es das keine Sicherung im Stecker vorhanden ist und so jederzeit ein Brandherd bei unvorsichtiger Benutzung herrscht.Von daher kann ich dieses Produkt so im Originalzustand nicht mit guten Wissen empfehlen.Meine Empfehlung :Stecker abschneiden und im Baumarkt einen neuen mit Sicherung holenOder ein anderes Kabel bestellen

Expédition rapide, produit conforme et à un prix très raisonnable. Adaptation parfaite à ma glacière. De plus, la bonne longueur (2m) permet plus de souplesse pour le branchement.
