Works with lighter weight curtain panels
Needed a small diameter tension rod to hang a blackout half panel curtain (inside mount) on our window sash and this works good so far. Not a lot of weight to the panel. Easy to put together and stays in place. Did not need the included sticky back plastic holders in our situation. Reading the instructions is a laugh (" Suitable forarious vscenarios..." 🤦♀️😂) but as long as it works, right? Would purchase again.

Great curtain rod
Great curtain rod for heavy or light weight curtains. Very stable and easy to mount by loosening and spinning the rod.

Value for $$
Longer than needed but was no problem, removed one end and placed rubber stopper on the middle piece and it fits great! That was our bad for not measuring lol! The mounting hardware is literally pieces with gorilla glue on back, perfect for closet opening we needed it for. Appears durable, installed quickly, looks great! Thanks!

Not a tension rod…
If someone asked for a tension rod recommendation, I would not recommend this. It’s holding up what I want it to hold up, but 1: it’s not a tension rod. It’s kind of just an expandable rod. It doesn’t use tension to hold it up, it uses those plastic cups to hold it up. It’s also pretty flimsy. It comes in two parts, which is just odd. I definitely foresee this thing falling down.

Small in diameter, read the dimensions
A reminder to read the dimensions of the product before you order! It's very small in diameter, but so far it's not bowing in the middle, but I fear it might eventually. Hopefully it will hold up. The length of the rod is fine. I'm permanently in a wheelchair. Doors are so difficult to open & close. I got a friend to remove my bathroom door & with this tension rod, he hung another shower curtain that matches the shower curtain in my bathroom. I think I will hang another curtain on top of the existing one when winter comes to help retain warmth in the bathroom. The shower curtain is dainty, lightweight & gauzy, so it doesn't weigh much. The tension rod is doing it's job just fine so in fairness I must give 5 stars. But if I have to buy one again, I won't buy this one because it's very small in diameter & I think it's better suited for a different need. I'd prefer to have a more sturdy & thicker rod.
