So i should start this review by sharing i have reached out to the seller to share some feedback on the adaptors and may well revise this review depending on the response i get. So i got these lights to go inside a cabinet to display some old fashioned China i inherited from my parents. Once i got through the drilling i had to do to fit the USB plug through followed by the rather large on/off/brightness adjuster i was ready to test them. First thoughts super bright, and awesome options for lowering on increasing the brightness, also great value and i loved the fact that these were different power adaptors so i could install one in each side of the cabinet. Now for the issues i ran into, after leaving these running for around 2 hours at around 80% brightness one of the units started flickering on and off, at first i thought it may be a loose connection but no it was fully pushed in to the adaptor, then i realized that i had a read a review from another buyer on here saying these adaptors were under powered and get too hot, these were so hot to the touch it felt like if i left them on any longer they might burn my hand if i touched them. I checked the other one and that was working but still running too hot in my opinion. I decided to switch out the non working one for a 5v cube usb adaptor that i purchased on Amazon yesterday, I left both lights running overnight and when i woke up the one supplied by this company was running too hot, the 5v one from amazon was cool to the touch so i swapped the 2nd adaptor out and after running that for around 5 hours now its also cool to the touch. Overheating adaptors are one thing, adaptors that do not work are a totally different thing, i should not have to pay out of my own pocket to make a product work right out the box. So i would say yes these are great lights, but be prepared to swap out the adaptor plugs. Update to this review as of March 24th 2026 Seller reached out very quickly and shared some good insight into the power adaptors, they also did make things right and you cannot ask for more than that from a seller, which made a customer out of me because i purchased another set. Awesome customer service.

Very nice lights. I like that they keep the brightness setting with the switch. Unfortunately they don't keep the setting if you have them plugged into a hub that shuts off with your PC. A minor inconvenience. And I guess there's also the possibility of the switch wearing out over time anyway. I almost started a return because it didn't seem like the magnets weren't working. I assumed the metal pieces were the magnets. But when they wouldn't stick to anything, I was even more confused. Until I decided to slide them down the light bar and I found the magnets. Figured they would be at the very ends, not a little ways in.

The lights are perfect for the cost - cheap, dimmable, and do exactly what I want. The controller seems fine, and the light is bright and even. The reason this is four stars rather than five is because of the power "brick" supplied with the units. For a device generating 5 watts (5 volts, 1 amp), this thing heats up a LOT. My infrared thermometer showed a temp of 127-ish after a few minutes of normal light, which made this the warmest power brick in my collection by a wide margin. So i did a little creative unboxing and discovered that there's what appears to be a resistor on the board that heats up to nearly 150 degrees! In addition to being a bit of a danger, this seems like it's wasting a lot of energy as heat. I think the design on this as-cheap-as-possible USB power supply stepped over the line to a little TOO cheap, and the result isn't great. Fortunately, 5v 1A USB power supplies are so ubiquitous that I had no problem finding a better one lying around (old cell phone chargers are awesome), and would advise anyone buying these LEDs to do the same. Great LEDS, but unless you're heating your house electrically, not great USB power adapters.

I love this so much this is my 2nd one in 10 years, they literally last forever. I use it as a light under my cabinets and above my sink. I keep in on 24/7. It has lasted over a year. The last one I bought last 7 years!!! They are very inexpensive for what I need. The size is absolutely perfect. Super easy to install takes 30 seconds or less.

little light bar i use for my paint stand. works great, nice and bright. i love that its usb. the cord if anything is to long, not short. it mounted super easy and is stable. i like it alot

The light was very bright and there were no issues with hanging the light under the office shelf. The issue is the flickering. Although it is reinforced throughout the details that this is a no flicker light, I could not get the light to stop flickering. It was so distracting and annoying while working, I had to get rid of it.
