I was a little nervous of buying something 1/3 of the price of the branded battery, especially with all the Nikon scaremongering/warranty-voiding threats in the manual, but I am very glad I did, as I have had excellent results from this with my D5300. I have used it several times, to shoot 1080p video as well as hundreds of full-quality RAW shots, using the display on full illumination, and never had it run out, so I could not really ask for more! Bear in mind I have only had the camera for a month or two, so I can't speak to its long-term performance, and I honestly don't know how it compares to the branded battery, but as a spare or replacement, I can't fault it.

I needed to extend battery life of my Nikon D3200, because the original battery lasted for about 3-4 hours, which was not nearly long enough. After first event I rushed desperately to the Amazon and purchased it without thinking much. As for now I was probably my best decision. The new battery came in rather shady cardboard box, with some piece of manual etc., but lets be honest, you know how to use battery. Plugged it in charger for the night and the next day I could not believe how efficient it is! From one full charge it takes about 6 h of rather active use of the camera to drain the battery. In my opinion it is absolutely great result and right now considering buying one or two more of those for longer trips with the camera!

This product serves its purpose. It came with a nice cap to protect the connection when the battery isn’t in use. It’s a spare battery for me, so the cap comes in handy when the battery is just in my camera bag, and the cap also fits my other battery, so when I’m using the spare, it fits that also. It’s a lot cheaper than the branded version of the same battery, however it could be a little cheaper, as it is only a battery, and as a student, I’m on a very tight budget, but all in all, it’s a brilliant purchase!

This is ideal. Lasts longer than my original Nikon battery.

I charged it up and then inserted to camera (D5100). No error messages and functioned perfectly. I can't vouch for how long the charge will last, but no compatibility issues straight from the box.Update (9 months on from purchase). This is really good. Charge lasts significantly longer than my Nikon battery (which is fully functional and takes as many photos as Nikon suggests it should on a full charge), and which has now been relegated to back-up status. I'll definitely buy another of these and fail to see why anyone would want to pay Nikon 3x more for less performance.

I purchased this as a back-up battery for my Nikon D3200, and even though I was concerned about this at first due to it being a non-Nikon product and after seeing some negative reviews, I was really surprised with the battery. Even though my camera has the most recent update, the battery still works in the camera (even though others are saying that non-Nikon products don't work after recent updates). I've found that this battery is actually better than the Nikon battery that was originally provided with my camera!Considering that the battery only cost a 1/3 of the cost charged for the Nikon-branded battery, this is a bargain!

Compatibility:I needed an additional spare battery for my camera quickly and this item seemed to be ideal and available in time.

I miss placed my d3200 battery and had to get one as i was going on vacation. Charging with the original charger, and last quite long.Recommended

Llegó bien y bien embalada. Funciona a la perfección y para mi sorpresa incluso llegó cargada. Funciona perfectamente en Nikon D3100 y D5100. La única pega (por resaltar algo) Me esperaba algo más de duración al ser 1600 y no 1300. pero no se aprecia diferencia. Muy recomendable y calidad/precio excelente!!!
