Surprisingly good
I bought this device almost on a whim, when I saw it for just £122 (inc the voucher). I wasn't expecting too much, but if it could be used as a Plex media client, I'd be pretty happy. My first impressions were actually very good. Nicely packaged. The build quality seems fairly decent. I had it setup within minutes, plugged in to a 4K telly, and booted to a Windows 11 desktop. It happily runs at 3840x2160 at 60hz (sometimes this needs some tweaking in the intel graphics configuration to get right). It also supports 2 screens, but I didn't try that. Wifi is fast too, reaching speeds of 240Mbs on my home network - although that did need a bit of playing around with the network card settings, as it was defaulting to using the 2.4ghz, rather than the 5ghz wifi. I would have liked it if I could have added an external wifi antenna, but not quibbling at this price. The desktop experience is nice and smooth. Very little lagging or waiting around. It's silent for the most part, although it does make some noise when it's crunching numbers and the fan comes on. It's not terrible though - a fairly low white noise type sound. But it may be audible in quieter moments in films. The unit does get a little on the warm side too, so keep it ventilated. These ultra low power chips from Intel have come on nicely, over the last few years. The n5105 chip in this device is comparable to a second generation i5 (around 2011) in terms of grunt. However, it benefits from having newer instruction sets, the ability to decode modern video in hardware, and a built in graphics processor. You'll barely be able to play games in 720p with low settings but it will give it a go. If you just need it to daily tasks (documents and web browsing), and watch videos, this thing will happily do that. For the reason I bought it, Plex, it works extremely well, handling most videos I threw at it with ease. 4K UHD can be a bit of a mixed bag, with it seemingly difficult to get HDR working correctly. But this could be more a limitation in Windows ability to deal with HDR (which still isn't all that great at the moment). So the jury is out on this one. In theory, it should be able to do 10bit colour at 24hz - but I'm also not sure if my TV can drop to 24hz (or even 48hz), so it can be difficult to judge what the weak link in the chain is here. The only thing I can't vouch for is longevity. It it breaks down in the next year or so, I'll come back and update this review. If I haven't mentioned that, you can be assured it's still going. So yes, this thing has somewhat pleasantly surprised me. For the price, it's a bargain. I may pick up another one.

A very good little machine
when buying a PC you should always look at what you will use it for. So if you're reading this looking to play games. Stop here, go look at a mini PC with an AMD chip in it, you will get much better graphics. That said, you can stream games using steam and this has no problem doing that. It just wont do the heavy lifting. For work, its great. it comes with a bracket that will fit standard mounting points on most screens. even though it is lacking in some parts it is quick enough to the point where you are not waiting around for things to respond. The Quad core CPU clocked at 2Ghz its powerful enough for most situations. It is 4 physical cores. The 8GB of RAM is the only let down, from what I can tell this is not upgradable The IO gives enough options for most use cases. The M.2 feels a little sluggish so I might put a higher speed one in there. but that is swappable so its not a big issue. so yeah for the price not a bad bit of kit for general use.

Amazing mini PC, perfect for both home and work
Was dubious about purchasing a windows 11 mini pc but really happy I did I've been working from home since 2016, I heavily work in the cloud for multiple clients and have at times had to have 3 laptops Made decision earlier this year to move my environments into the cloud, and looked at options for how to connect and do my work Decided to go with a mini pc. Main reason for purchasing this mini pc was the price ... For a trial to see if I can do my work as opposed to the more expensive mini PCs was a easy choice I've been using this now for the past month, and it's never failed me I've got it connected to 2 x LG dualup monitors which allows for me to have 8 application windows running at any given time This little mini pc manages my workload without any problems, I'm even able to stream via webcam MS Teams and Zoom meetings (video and audio is excellent) Quite possibly the best value PC I've ever used with bonus of having windows 11 professional

Great as media centre with brilliant customer support.
Over the years I have struggled with all sorts of media centre solutions, mainly android boxes and have found them severely lacking. Mainly due to compatibility with services I use regularly, my next box had to be a pc or mac. After giving a Mac Mini a whirl, I sent it back and gave this Bkouen a go, and I love it. Setup was a breeze, and despite a little head scratcher with the picture no showing correctly which was down to a setting on my TV, everything has gone brilliantly since. I'm not a gamer so can't really comment on that, but everything else I've thrown at it has worked perfectly. And why shouldn't it, it's a Windows 11 box, and it has plenty of juice for everyday computing and streaming, and to be honest I would be using this as my main computer if my main desktop wasn't so noisy to use as a media centre. Streaming, downloading and viewing video files are flawless and with the added benefit of using all the software I normal use on my main computer. I'm using it with a mini keyboard as there is no real need for a full sized one to click on a file and watch. I have a 55" 4K TV and the picture is superb, and although I haven't watched a full 4K video with the box, my Blu-ray files work seamlessly with it and I get a perfect picture without any slowing or complaining. A couple of my services have UHD streaming and that works flawlessly as well. I did have a problem with the box power supply, it was making a peculiar noise which appeared when I shut down the computer. Not having much hope I contacted the support email in the manual. This was due to the fact that I was outside the return window by a couple of months. To my surprise, a wonderfully helpful rep called Tina responded and sorted things out after a couple of emails. After suggesting a compatible power supply on Amazon, I purchased it and I was refunded the full cost through the original order. She did offer me the option of sending one out through their supplier, but it was going to take at least 15 days and with the post being what it is, I decided to go the ordering from Amazon route. I only mention the problem, because of the wonderful and prompt customer service I received. It's nice to know that there are genuine sellers out there. So overall I would highly recommend this Windows 11 box, especially if you want a media centre for your TV without the incompatibility that invariably crops up with android boxes.

Does the job
Using this for Home Assistant under a virtual machine inside Windows 11. Computer fans seem to run all the time, so be prepared for a little bit of noise. Power wise its pulling about 10.8w running home assistant 24/7, logging quite a few devices and streaming 2 CCTV cameras. It's no powerhouse, so don't expect it to run the latest games in full HD, but for general day to day web browsing, office use and emails etc, it's absolutely spot on. It's £150... You get what you pay for :)

Great value for money
I needed a separate PC from my main machine to use exclusively for Zoom teaching. I already had the peripherals (monitor, keyboard, mouse, audio etc) so needed something small and fast with a number of USB and HMDI inputs. The mini PC works perfectly for this task. I had an issue with the Windows 11 installation as it seemed to tie itself in knots updating and reloading but a fresh installation sorted it out. Have to say that the customer service from the seller was first class - very quick response and helpful advice.

Good for general use but not top end performance
Goog for general admin eg word, excel, photo printing, minor photo editing. Video editing ok for cut and paste but maynbe limited. Not gaming since the graphics is just not a gaming graphics card. OK for BBC Iplayer etc web browsing etc.

Minime dimensioni e silenziosissimo
