Husqvarna 585058401 Technical Forestry Helmet Safety Helmet

Bought this to replace an hour existing husqvarna helmet that has had a lot of use over 11 years ( it saved me from a falling branch but got a little battered. Bought replacement parts and now use it as a spare ). This helmet is quite an improvement. The mesh is almost see through and the adjuster is very simple and quick. Just a matter of turning a knob at the back until it fits your head. Handy as sometimes I wear a beanie under the helmet in the winter so my head is even bigger ! Ear defenders as with all husqvarna helmets are great and designed specifically for chainsaw frequencies. All round top purchase

use this helmet every day for work, very light and comftable, ear defenders are comfy and tuck out the way easily and stay there! Visor is also very good and quite sturdy. Excellent customer service with this company too! Highly recommend.

I'm hardly a pro feller or an arborist, but I have used a chainsaw for 20 years to drop dead trees, mostly madrones (some 18 inches, 50 - 60 feet) then buck and split them for firewood. A dry madrone canopy is a really treacherous hazard: there are lots of small things that can shatter and drop on you and some quite large branches that are brittle and break loose, so you never want to be without a good helmet. I started with an inexpensive Stihl, and it seemed okay but for it slid around on my head no matter how I adjusted the suspension. So I borrowed my wife's Husqvarna helmet (slightly higher priced than the Stihl) and liked it better. Still, I couldn't get a perfect fit, and as with the suboptimal fit distracted me as I moved my head while working. (I don't like being distracted when I have in my hands a buzzing chainsaw . . .) So I gambled on this and it has turned out to be fabulous. Once it's on and properly adjusted, I don't even know it's there. It's comfortable and never moves. I am no longer distracted, and I wonder why in the name of god I didn't spring for this sooner. Dumb me. But I finally got what I needed.

UPDATE 06.08.2024: weiterhin hochzufrieden und weiterhin 5 Sterne ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! ✅ ich habe den Forsthelm seit Oktober 2023 im Einsatz. Seither war ich fast jede zweite Woche (am Wochenende für 8-20h) in meinem Wald für Baumfällarbeiten. ✅ das Visier ist sehr robust und stabil. Besonders gut finde ich, dass das Visier oben und unten leicht nach innen gebogen ist, was zusätzlich Schutz bietet. ✅ der Helm lässt sich stufenlos einstellen ✅ der Gehörschutz liegt sehr gut und ist angenehm zu tragen (auch nach 8h). ✅ das Produktionsdatum ist am Helm mit 03/2023 angegeben, was mir hinsichtlich des Alters Sicherheit bietet – siehe FOTO/Video. ✅ das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis finde ich „gerechtfertigt“. ✅ Ich würde den Helm jederzeit wieder kaufen und gebe lieber einmal etwas mehr Geld aus. FAZIT: ich vergebe 5 Sterne ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ und kann den Forsthelm von Husqvarna weiterempfehlen.
