Says what it is, Nice kitchen set of self sharpening knives, look great in my kitchen, I will say one important thing however they are very sharp so take care as I cut myself opening the box and again first use and I have 50 years experience with sharp tools, keep your fingers behind the blade you will be fine.... Nice quality for the price... Recommended

The block itself is solid and well made. The knives have a nice weight and feel. Super sharp and have a great look about them. Hopefully the individual sharpening slots will keep them pristine for years to come. Disappointed that the block itself was a lot darker than the images and, slightly less of an issue, the top was black, not clear as the selling images portrayed. Overall though I am very pleased with the set and enjoy using them.

These knives are unbelievably sharp, so much so I actually cut two different fingers washing and drying them ready to put into the block (my own stupid fault after underestimating just how sharp the knives would be and being used to my old blunt knives). I was going to go for the ninja knives but pleased I didn't as themselves ones are excellent value in comparison and in my opinion, are better due to the actual slots sharpening the knives instead of having to use the sharpening contraption manually (which the ninja expects at more than double the cost). Mine did come with a long black hair trapped under the acrylic top as you can see in the pics, which is not ideal and I will need to take the acrylic off (it is held by two screws so easy enough) so think more attention to quality control is needed, but this small issue doesn't deter from the overall quality of the actual knives and probably just unlucky. Some of the other reviews did mention that you need to guess the bread knife slot as it's not clear which is which... I'm not sure how you could miss it as the sharpeners are clearly shown on the slots and there's only one without the sharpeners (see pic to show how easy it is to spot). Easy enough to mark if you struggle but it's 4th slot from left to right. Would reccomend!

My husband wanted a set of Ninja self sharpening knives but I couldn't afford the price tag....Didn't need any additional steak knives and found this set to be perfect. Good quality knife block with protective cover on the top...knives are very sharp and have a good heavy weight to them..They look and feel more expensive compared to other brands. Very pleased as my hubby likes them too at a fraction of the cost...

If you are sick of blunt kitchen knives buy these, you dont need any pressure, push knife forward. There is a sharpener in every slot except bread knife. You sharpen the other 5 when you return the knifes jto the block.

Brilliant set of knives. Razor sharp and still razor sharp after a month of usage. Cannot recommend highly enough. You won't find better and the price is outstanding.

Good sturdy block with really good knives that are very, very sharp! Lost count of how many times I've managed to cut myself, but they are really worth it, excellent buy.
