I love this beautiful wool blanket. But then, I buy mostly wool blankets from around the world for their durability and warmth. The fact that heavier wool tends to be more textured, it may be ‘itchy’ for you. I don’t have that problem, fortunately. Some people have more sensitive skin and heavier wool might bother them. If you bought a wool blanket with alpaca blend, that would be more soft. Again, I personally don’t have a problem with this, and I really love this warm blanket. It helps me sleep more soundly at night. Hope this helps.
