Savisto Wine Aerator | Acrylic Wine Breather, Pourer and Filter with Display Stand - Black

So I did have to look into what an aerator actually is, as far as I can tell it gives you the taste of a decanted wine but in seconds compared to hours. I'm not into planning when I'm going to drink wine hours and hours ahead so I went for the aerator. Glad I did cause the tastes great and all you have to do is pour the wine through the glass tube bit. Mixes air with the wine and makes it taste so much better! I was quite cheeky once I got this, opened a bottle of wine and did a taste test. Poured a glass out to air then sealed the bottle back up. Left the glass out to air for a while then got another glass and poured from the bottle using this aerator. You pour the wine through the top of the aerator and pour through a small steel filter. This should and does filter out any dirt or sediment in the wine. Had a taste from both glasses and I was annoying shocked at the taste, the aerator one tasted much nicer to me. It had a fuller and richer flavour that was much nicer on my pallet. I had my doubts but my doubts where very wrong. This gives the wine such a nice taste, it seems to enhance the whole taste and flavour. I've had wine that’s been left out to air for hours and this tastes better. It has a fresher fuller taste. Very happy with it. Past the function of the aerator it was also very well packaged, had no damage on arrival. The aerator itself arrived inside a small pouch so it can be kept dust and dirt free when not in use. Inside the box I also found a small display stand, I'm actually using this so that the aerator can be kept out on display at all times ready for use. The whole product looks fantastic, the glass aerator looks great and the black contrasting grip is great too. Adds something extra to the product but also makes it easy to grip when you’re pouring through it.

Arrived next day and very nicely packaged. Nice box, a very nice storage bag and stand. This would make a very nice gift for the wine drinker. I did the taste test (which the instruction card gives details of) and to my surprise I did notice a difference. The small filter also did work, I never thought there would be small partials in a bottle of wine, but yes the mesh cup did catch some. The wine aerator is easy to use and to clean. I am very happy with my purchase and can highly recommend both the product and the seller.

A perfect tool for when you have realised that you are about to serve up the meal and forgot to open the wind earlier ! The aerator takes the edge off just-opened wine; it's light and portable, so you can take it with you and your wine wherever you go.

Nice little gadget I was scepitcal at first but after trying it it works great, I can now enjoy a glass of red straight after opening the bottle without having to let it breathe. Its a bit fidely to use as you have to poor quite quickly other wise it will not suck the air in correctly and wont work. It takes a bit of getting used to but once you have its great the wine tastes really smooth and airated, obviously still depends on how good the wine is. the only thing im not sure is the longevity of the product so only time will tell, as Im not a big drinker it won't get alot of use with me so it should last a long time. I prefer to drink very occasionally and spend the money saved on a really good quality bottle.

Good quality product that does the job. I made a comment to someone at a charity luncheon regarding the pain getting the dregs out of older wines and they recommended the wine aerator as it improves the taste of the wine and collects any bits or cork that might be floating about! Ordered it at the table and it was delivered the next day.

One option here is to rate it on flavour. Not so sure it is edible and I have not tried. What a great product though. The ones that fit in the bottle neck always leak. This works a treat. Compare this to the Vinturi at £30+ . They are identical so no difficult decision to make there. I am sure this makes a difference to the wine if only that difference is phycological. It looks good too. Looks like a quality product. Worth £8.95 of anybody's money all day. I did email Savisto with a couple of questions around their links to Vinturi products but I gave up after three attempts as they obviously did not understand what I was trying to say.

L'oggetto è fatto bene, la plastica non presenta sbavature, la confezione è completa e con un imballo buono. Considetrato che fa lo stesso lavoro del suo corrispettivo di marca direi che non ha senso acquistare quello se si può avere questo oggetto a un prezzo così conveniente

Der Weinbelüfter, der bei uns den saloppen Namen „Weinpupser“ bekommen hat, habe ich in einer Tapasbar entdeckt und nach kurzer Recherche über Amazon bestellt. Das System belüftet zuverlässig und unproblematisch den Wein, so dass ein aufwändiges Dekantieren entfällt. Ein (positiver) Unterschied zum nicht belüfteten Wein ist deutlich zu schmecken. Das Gerät ist zudem extrem einfach zu reinigen - Wasser durch & gut. Preis & Leistung stimmen auch - haben zwischenzeitlich die ganze Familie damit ausgestattet.

Un po scettico nel acquistarlo ma una volta arrivato e stato messo alla prova, una confezione molto bella il prodotto di una buona consistenza di peso pratico nell'uso funzionalità buona, una mia considerazione e quella di passare il vino due volte e metterlo in un decanter di vetro in questo modo ho notato che si esaltano abbastanza bene le caratteristiche del vino molto molto vicine a una decantazione tradizionale...... per un vino non molto impegnativo va bene un uso più semplice quindi passarlo direttamente nel bicchiere. Prodotto molto valido per qualità/prezzo
