Not Fit For Purpose
As others mention, this device will only power on when plugged into a power source - the moment it's unplugged it is a brick so they should remove the "mobile" tag from the product description. The setup is mostly luck, sometimes it will work, and when it does, the signal is woeful. To compare, I bought a 5G enabled all you can eat Vodaphone SIM, activated on an Android phone and choose 4G only (note this device you're thinking of buying does not support 5g) speedtest was 20MBps and using mobile hostpsot on phone getting the same on other devices connect. Drop the same SIM into this device, if it works the speedtest max maybe 3MBps and slowly trickles down to zero. This test was done in the same location. I'm going to just use the SIM in a mobile phone and use that for tethering - at least that works and actually holds a charge making it a real "mobile" hotspot.

Not able to use it
I have had no success with this item despite trying several different network sim cards. Wherever I have been able to try it out the signal has stayed red so although able to find the device from our phones or tablets there is no access to Internet. Can't keep trying further networks as this involves buying a new sim each time and this is getting costly. Now unfortunately past the time for return. Very disappointing.

Worked for 1 day then needed to be charging at all times.Then doesn't even work when charging.Waste if money.

I used this devise when abroad and overall worked however I needed to keep it on charge otherwise wouldn’t functionDisappointed as this is supposed to be a mobile device.

It is not portable
This is supposed to be a portable device with a chargeable battery it does not work unless connected to a power source

Not the easiest of things to set up
My major dislike was the miniscule operator manual, the print is so small it was difficult to read even with a 10x magnifying glass, secondly i was unable to download the MIFI web page, it was only after hours of trial and error that i was able to set it up, having said all that, it is suitable for my needs.

I found it only has a short charge (imho ) it doesnt show its fully charged and never has been and its finally not charging or even coming on so i dont think i would buy again , quite disappointed really as i bought it thru amazon

De mobiele wifi meegenomen naar het buitenland. Helaas gaat het apparaat niet aan. Nu ben ik op zoek naar een andere mobiele wifi voor mijn kinderen.

Malo no, lo siguiente.
Para empezar compre el producto como nuevo y no lo era, la caja se notaba que había sido abierta con anterioridad. Luego a la hora de configurarlo las claves que vienen indicadas en el interior para este proceso no son correctas, pues al introducirlas dice que son incorrectas.En definitiva una auténtica basura, lo barato sale caro. Devuelto a Amazon.

Gekauft im Dezember 24 jetzt erst im Krankenhaus 1te mal benutzt. 3 Tage und kaputt. Nicht mal eine Option in meine Bestellungen um Verkäufer zu kontaktieren . SCHROTT Finger weg.1 Stern ist zu viel.
