Durable, Fun, Easy to Fly
I bought this plane last year. I've wanted once since I was a kid and finally got around to buying one. The gyroscopic stabilizer is great. Beginner is pretty fail proof, intermediate allows you to do some tricks and fly tighter turns while still being forgiving. Expert is hard, but I'm also no pro. The ailerons are a huge factor in making this great. A friend bought one without them and it's much less fun. Something to note, I have flyed a lot and gotten pretty good, but I have crashed mine probably 50 times flying in too small of an area in my backyard, a few at full speed. It held up very well and I was surprised how long it lasted before a crack. After many many head on collisions it did eventually crack the foam in the nose, but was easily repaired with some clear gorilla glue. Still flies great after the repair. If your more careful than me and fly in fields I would not be surprised if it never breaks. The prop is pretty durable and pops off if crashed. This is good since the prop won't break. The downside is it can be easy to loose them. I've debated spray painting one high visibility orange to make it easier to find.

So much fun
This Rc plane is wonderful even after progressing to more than 9 other planes including warbirds and jets. You can fly this airplane in more spaces than you can fly the more advanced aircraft and still bring it home undamaged. It flies very fast especially pulling out of dives from high above. You can Also putt around all you want for about 20 minutes on a 500 battery. Yes, It takes hotter batteries easily and does all the stunts whether doing it yourself on expert or using the auto stunt button which is just so cool. Now this can ONLY happen if you spend a week or as long as it takes to master flying using one of the Rc airplane apps. Don’t even think about flying without mastering flying on your phone. Of course that’s where the bad reviews stem from. You have to be the pilot of any Rc plane, even though the adds on the packaging etc says otherwise. So definitely acquire one of these or a fleet. Very fun activity to add to your life.

Needed a little work...
The wing is a little warped so rather than running a lot of right aileron trim I dropped the left trim tab a little bit to compensate. The airplane is a bit tail heavy so I glued 4 bb sized fishing weights inside the front cowling. The first time I turned off the xpilot it turned into real bucking bronco, incapable of level flight without constant intervention to avoid stalling. The added weight makes it fly nice and smooth like a piper cub should without need for the xpilot. I really like the xpilot for hand launching but I turn it off as soon as the cub has some altitude. Its a really fun airplane to fly after said modifications. I would recommend it for beginners. The merging of drone stabilization technology with a conventional airplane is a great idea.

Better than the bigger name hobby brand!
This is far better than the first plane my son got.. the hobby zone sport cub. That prop snapped the first day and the overpriced replacement snapped soon after. This one with the prop saver is genius.. and it feels like it has more power than the big name hobby brand too. Highly recommend.. better and cheaper.

A great plane for beginners or more experienced pilots!
My son and I both really enjoy this plane. It has unbelieve able flight duration for the battery size. Also Lots of power ,and flight Modes for Dad and Son alike. We live in an open area with lots of wind and we can fly just fine. We enjoy hovering against the wind and picking it out of mid air. I have larger planes, but for an after supper fly in the back yard, this one can't be beat. Ours is banged up because of too many near ground stunts. I take full responsibility . We will get another one. A cheap, enjoyable hobby. Get one. Have some Dad and Son time.
