For about a month and a half to two months I been suffering with perioral dermatitis and it has been rough and taking over lower half of my face. I had read on Reddit about different remedies first purchasing sulfur soap and it helped a bit but stopped, than bought Ketoconazole shampoo used that as a mask once daily and that also helped but stopped after a while than bought zinc soap and that also helped but wouldn’t be able to push through it completely. Meanwhile using the ordinary’s azelaic acid. I kept reading on Reddit about this product praising it, so finally I gave in. It’s been one day I got it yesterday used it that night and the pustules were all dried up, the redness was almost completely gone I was flaking in the areas most effected quite a bit but I will take it. I know the price tag is a bit intimidating but it’s worth every penny. Also make sure before using you shake it and/or roll the tub in between the palms of your hands a bit to combine the ingredient separation.

I am 27 and have been through sooooooo many different products for this dry alligator skin Las Vegas wants to give me. Out of the three my fav products were the hand cream and the face cream. The lip one was good but I think CeraVe ointment works better. I had intense flaky and red skin around my mouth, and nose. This cream did it's magic over night! It's day 4 and my make up applies so flawless now. The only downside is the water was separated so I mixed it as best as I could. But it still worked on my face so I'm really happy. And the hand cream is the best moisturizer iv ever purchased, my hands are so soft.

Many of the other reviews aren’t wrong about the product arriving separated which is why I took away one star. Apparently, this happens when exposed to cold temperatures per what I read online. I was able to mix it well enough to work but it was definitely an inconvenience and I can see a lot of the product getting wasted when the water is squeezed out.Anyways as for the product itself. It really did restore my skin barrier. I use this at night time because I feel like it can look a little heavy to use during the day. I have acne-prone skin and this did not break me out at all! I didn’t realize I had redness until I started using this product and it completely disappeared! Will continue using it, especially for winter!

I knew from the reviews that it was a thick white cream. That's the zinc obviously, but I can't say enough about using it for rosacea. I've had rosacea for thirty seven years and this cream is a life changer. I use it over my prescription cream and moisturizer, in problem areas. And the results are great, give it time and redness and bumps will calm down. Makes you wonder why this isn't offered by dermatologists. I've been seeing Derms for years and never mentioned A'vene. Need to do your own research, thank God I found a topical that works!!!!!

If you order this in winter, there's a high probability that you may receive it with the product inside separated. This product is not supposed to be stored below 32° F.I ordered 2 tubes and the product inside was separated. When I squeezed the tube, a greasy clear watery substance came squirting out.However, you can easily get it back to normal. First, soak the tube (with the lid closed) in some hot water and wait. Take out and shake vigorously. You can repeat this until the product inside is completely mixed. I did this to both of my tubes and haven't had any problems since.

This is a nice product, but somehow water got separate from the cream...after 20 min of shaking it i didn't get to mix the water with the cream...so i emptied the solution to small container and mix it myself...i think there's more water than cream, but i do like it...2 days using it and i see a difference in my skin... i might buy it again.

I don't normally do returns but had to return this product because it was watery upon delivery! My friend who ordered around the same time got a similar product and had to return too. I'm not sure why, maybe it wasn't stored in Amazon warehouse correctly? I ordered another one from Ulta and it came in the right consistency, which is creamy and not watery.

If you've got oily, acne-prone skin where NOTHING (except antibiotics) works, please give this a go! This cleared up my painful acne/damaged skin barrier (from using anti-acne products)- turns out my skin is very sensitive to acids/harsh cleansers/complicated skincare regimes. It took a few weeks to completely clear what was the worst breakout in my entire life (triggered by stress) but I saw a difference from first use. Oily skin has reduced, no painful crops of whiteheads, cystic acne heals within days (instead of weeks) and my skin is in the best condition it's ever been. It has even healed old acne scars (pitted) that I've had for years. It has healed my skin to smooth and glowing- a better result than strong acid peels!I cannot stop using this (along with Avene's foaming cleanser and water spray) and have been using as my moisturiser, morning and night. This cream is magic- I've suffered with acne for nearly 15 years and this has finally given me confidence (especially to go out make-up free).

I have a 15 year old son who has been hot with spotty skin. I had tried all sorts of creams and cleansers but nothing seemed to work. It didn’t help that my son wasn’t consistent in his skin care regime!Read about this cream in the news, some social media influencer had used it with apparent success, so I thought it would be worth a go.It really works! My sons skin is so much better! He still gets spots but the cream seems to help get rid of them quicker and the spots are much less angrily red. This skin also feels much better, always moisturised and healthy.We have kept it up for over 5 months and will keep going. I have used it myself a couple of times as a night cream, works really well and feels great!Highly recommended!

EXCELLENT product.I hear people complaining about the antiblemish set of Avene, so I decided to use those in combination with Cicalfate (I have very sensitive skin and I'm prone to scars).When I first got the product I thought it had some problem because it was pure water. After reading the reviews, I realised I just had to shake it. It became a dense white paste afte this and I hadn't have to shake it twice.I have been applying it in small portions, twice a day. I apply Avene cleanance cleanser and the mattifying toner first, then some vitamin C serum (BeBarefaced) and, at night, I put on some Cicalfate. My skin has never been this pretty. I feel as if I was in my early twenties. It has only been one week but the results are undeniable.I am using only small portions of each cream, so I reckon they will last an eternity + it helps avoiding skin reactions from the cleanance line. Cicalfate looks a bit oily but it is rapidly absorbed by your skin - and it does miracles!I bought it all for acne but it does so much more for you... Definitely recommend it.

Honestly this has saved my skin. It's not too thick and I've had oily skin for a while but I don't anymore thanks to this. The best face moisturiser I've ever gotten and I've tried quite a few things.

It arrived as pure liquid, you could hear it when you shake the bottle. BUT i left it on the radiator for a day and it solidified! Just needs some heat. Cream is great :)
