Will this stand up on its own? My North Face falls over all the time!

If you have a laptop in then yes, if you put alot of stuff at the front pockets (that are heavy) then yeah. The padding is protective and the bag is very well made though so if you do have like a camera and laptop in, even if the bag falls like 2 metres, everything inside should be safe
