McVitie's Club Salted Caramel Biscuit Bars 7x23g

Really yummy, chocolate is thick and creamy. Delicate taste of caramel. They are now in a plastic wrapper which keeps them fresher for longer. The old style tin foil and paper used to make them go stale so quickly. Overall a lovely small chocolate bar perfect for lunchboxes.

If you grew up with the classic McVitie's Club biscuits, you know exactly what to expect from the brand: a solid, thick block of chocolate surrounding a chunky, satisfyingly crunchy biscuit center. I decided to pick up this 7-pack of the Salted Caramel version to see how the new flavor profile holds up against the traditional orange or mint versions, and overall, I’m really pleased with them. First things first: the flavor profile. If you are a fan of salted caramel, you will absolutely love these. McVitie's has managed to strike a really nice balance here. The caramel flavour is distinct and rich without being utterly overpowering, and there's just enough of a subtle salty edge to cut through the sweetness of the milk chocolate. It feels a bit more modern and indulgent than the standard lineup. The thick chocolate coating is exactly what you want from a Club bar, and it pairs brilliantly with the caramel undertones. So, why four stars instead of a perfect five? There are just a couple of minor points keeping it from perfection for me: Sweetness Level: While the salt does help balance it out, salted caramel is inherently a very sweet flavor profile. When combined with a thick milk chocolate coating, it edges dangerously close to being a bit too sweet if you're eating it on its own. It's fantastic when paired with a strong, unsweetened cup of tea or coffee, which balances the sugar hit perfectly, but it might be intense for anyone who prefers a more subtle treat. Size/Value: At 23g per bar, they are definitely on the smaller side. They make for a perfect, quick lunchtime snack or a controlled treat, but they disappear very quickly! I'd love to see a slightly larger bar or perhaps a larger multipack option for better value. That being said, they are an excellent addition to the Club family. The biscuit remains beautifully crisp, the chocolate is thick and snappy, and the flavor is spot on for anyone who enjoys a proper salted caramel treat. I will definitely be keeping a pack of these in the cupboard for my afternoon tea breaks, and I'd highly recommend giving them a try if you're looking to change up your usual biscuit routine!

im not the one to complain but as for this,,,,,, but i have bought these club boiscuits for decades and they were good in the past but i thought i try these and was very disappointed ,, not the same as before , ,no chocolate and no flavour just rank
