I’ve been using the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer on my Afro-Caribbean hair and it’s honestly one of the best tools I’ve used. It cuts down drying time so much — my hair dries and stretches way quicker, and it comes out smooth, soft, and much easier to manage. It’s especially good for thick, coily hair because it detangles and dries at the same time, so you’re not fighting with two tools. I also like that it leaves my hair with a nice shine and less frizz and it gives more of a stretched, blowout look rather than completely straight hair, which I actually prefer for everyday styling. Only thing is the heat can be quite high, so definitely use a heat protectant and work in sections for the best results. Overall, it’s a really good, affordable option if you want quicker, easier styling on Afro-textured hair without salon effort.

I was dissapointed on first impressions, I was even thinking of returning it. It's nothing more than a hairdryer, where air comes out through the holes in the plastic hairbrush. It was very uncomfortable to hold, I don't have small hands, but I was really struggling to hold it, but i guess it would be difficult to design it differently. Despite initial reservations, I decided to give it a shot and - I was actually happy with the results. I used it a few times now and every time I get a better result as my technique improves. I now hold the strands of my hair and use the brush like a hairstylist would do during a blow dry. My hair is wavy, and this hairbrush straightens it without making it flat. I'm very happy with it. To cut on time I use a regular hairdryer for a few minutes to dry off my hair a tad before progressing to using this drying brush. I would definitely recommend it, despite it being awkward to hold

Great but loud and overheats

I have thick, long hair and this styler makes drying and smoothing it so much faster. The paddle brush design covers plenty of surface area, untangles easily, and leaves my hair with impressive volume. The heat settings are great for drying quickly without overheating. It has a sleek appearance, feels durable, and a great value for money. Highly recommend!

I really like this dryer! It works great on all hair types, even type 4. I use it on my son’s type 3 hair too — his hair gets matted fast, but this brush moves quickly and makes detangling super easy. You It does get pretty hot, so use a heat protectant. After about 3 years, the fuse can wear out, but overall it’s totally worth it — quick, simple, and great for everyday use.

I have the Revlon round barrel brush (the brush combs are closer together) which works better than this flatter head brush. I do think it would work perfect on a fuller/ thicker type of hair. This doesn’t half the drying time like it states (based on not so thick hair). But the brush its self is great just a shame I need a fuller head of hair.

Works well

Easier to dry my curly, frizzy 4a/b/c hair with this than to battle with a normal hair dryer, combs & brushes or even the pick attachment... With hair that reverts when wet, I decided this was the way forward when at the last attempt my hair was reverting as I tried to dry it because it touched the skin on my shoulders which was wet from perspiration! All that effort & hard work for nothing! Who's got time for that??? This product is a massive help & the job is done in less than half the time. And I don't end up a hot mess at the end of the process. I like the size of the barrel handle. It's comfortable to hold. Easy to switch on/off. The paddle brush helps separate hair strands as well as pull taught so air circulates evenly. There are other cheaper versions that are similar that I could compare this to but in my opinion this is superior. I've had drying wands in 2 sections but because I have afro hair it put too much pressure on the joining connection, which broke & the brush can no longer be attached. This model has the brush connected to the handle, all in one, so that is not an issue. The drying power isn't the strongest but it's at a level that still allows you to swiftly get the job done. Dry your hair by just brushing it: one of the best inventions ever, but this model is superior to others in my honest opinion. One tip for afro hair, & possibly others too, you need to dry with minimum product if any at all. The brush has many holes for the air to come through & if you're not careful product will begin to remain & build up. Enjoy.

Ein wirklich tolles und vor allem praktisches Produkt. Was ich allerdings schade finde, das niergendwo erwähnt wird, das ein Steckdosenadapter benötigt wird, da das Gerät mit einem US Netzteil ausgestattet ist. Deswegen einen Stern Abzug. Ansonsten klare weiterempfehlung.

I wish I knew about this blow dryer earlier. I was able to dry my hair in 5 minutes. I didn’t have to fight to keep the afro comb attachment on, or worry about the hair dryer getting hot while I’m holding it as I normally have to do with the standard hairdryer. This revlon one-step hair dryer is lightweight and very comfortable to hold. I was able to blow dry my hair with ease from all different angles as if I was holding a normal brush. I also had way less breakage. I would 1000% recommend this blow dryer especially if you have Afro hair, I will definitely be telling my family and friends about it.
