Thorough review with an update....
I don't write a lot reviews but there are a few things I'd like to say about the litter kwitter...The litter kwitterThe instructions were very easy and clear to follow and the DVD was good if you waned a little bit more information. There are a few things I think worth mentioning though...I have a standard loo and even though the white mount that goes on the loo has clips I found these didn't work as my loo doesn't have a ridge or rim round the outside for the clips to clip onto... Without them however the white mount could move around quite a bit and because I didn't want my cat getting spooked with the movement I just wedged some cardboard in the gap between the loo and the white mount and that seemed to solve this issue. The red stage was very easy for my cat to get used to how ever moving to the orange stage was a bit difficult for my cat (I might just have a very scared cat though lol so you might not have this issue but just in case you do this is how i solved it) she didn't like the big drop from the hole to the loo so what I did was put an old bowl into the loo and placed the red tray on top of the bowl (this was to secure the red tray because the first time I tried this she tried to stand on it while investigating it at first and it moved and freaked her out) with a small bit of litter in and then placed the orange stage like normal into the white mount. This way there it a small drop between the orange stage and the red stage underneath. This meant there was more things for you to move it you only have 1 loo but i thought it definitely worth it to get the end result you want. Once my cat has completely got used to it like this (this is as far as we have got so far with the training) i will remove the red tray and the bowl as she would have got used to her poops dropping through the hole to the water. When she is ready to move to the green stage I won't need to use the bowl like before because she would have got used to the drop so should be a lot easier from then on.I have tried 2 different kinds of flush-able litter. Pettex Pampuss Woodbase Cat Litter 30 Litreby Pettex I'm not sure if I just have a particularly fussy cat but she wasn't keen on this litter at all the pellets were too big for her to move around to how she liked it before she went to the loo and because of the ridges in the litter kwitter you could'nt actually get a lot of the pellets in to the litter kwitter. Flushing this litter was fine except on one occasion the loo did get blocked (it was very easy to unblock though) because the dirty litter just sort of crumbles but in the process of putting the dirty litter into the loo some clean pellets that were in the litter kwitter went in too and they expand with water hence why the loo blocked. The good things about this litter is that it is defiantly value for money and it does have quite a pleasant smell.Cat's Best Öko Plus Cat Litter, 30 L by Cats BestMy cat much preferred this litter as the litter was very small and easy for her to move around. I do love the fact that this litter clumps together so was very easy to see and to remove all dirty litter and not throw a lot of clean litter as well. It was a little more pricey for the same amount of litter but as your cat needs positive experiences with the litter kwitter I personally thought this was the best litter for the job.I hope you find this thorough review helpful as this is all the information I would have liked to have when researching this... All I can say is know your cat and what they might be afraid of and use a lot of positive encouragement, be patient and don't rush though the stages and good luck :)UPDATE..... It has been about a month now and molly doing so well really proud of her, not even a quarter of the way through the bag of litter no more mess or horrid smells just a quick flush I am taking my time with the training but it is so worth it (moving onto the green stage without anything underneath so A LOT easier) I have updated this product from 4 stars to 5.... the niggly issues you might go through to get to the end result far out weighs the hassles you would have with a normal litter tray just wish I did this years ago lolJJT

Patience and belief is the key
Ever since I went to the pet store to get my first bits and pieces for my kitten I wanted to get this. So, less than a month after getting her I decided that it was time that we started to train her. I've been using the LK for 4 weeks but have only been using it properly for about 2 weeks and we are on the red disc and it is now on the loo. I must admit that when I read some of the reviews about all these people that had problems with it I really started to doubt whether it would work and I became paranoid which is why I had to back track and start again. When I initially started to use the LK, Sefi was quite happy to use it to pee in but she would refuse to do a #2 and I became so panicky that she would end up getting intestinal problems that put out her old litter tray and within minutes she was using it. I went onto the forums for help and realised that I was never going to change her habits unless I changed my own. So I decided that that was it - no more litter tray - I didn't care if she did a #2 on the floor, I wanted the LK to succeed and therefore it would.I watched the CD from start to finish (yes I thought that I was more intelligent and could do without - don't make this mistake - watch it!!), got rid of the old litter tray, put newspaper down on the floor and left bags of treats on the toilet cistern. If she did do something on the floor (only happened twice) I would put an obstacle so she couldn't go in the same place again. Eventually she used the LK for her #2 and she was on target!! Needless to say we made huge fuss and gave her treats. We continued with the treats for 3 days and then started to wind them down so that we could start them back up again as we moved onto the next stage. The LK does require patience and you must not get cross with your cat or try to rush her onto the different stages too quickly. Like I said we are only on the red stage but I am 100% confident that she is more than capable of using the LK to the final stage
