Silicone Rest for Iron – Polka Dots – Heat Resistant Mat

Solves the problem if iron board scorching and tearing. My only gripe is that it could be a bit bigger but it handles fearsome heat from my steam iron.

Wanted to be able to lay my iron flat and not worry about it falling off the board and burning anyone or anything. This pad is really handy, doesn't seem to melt at all when a hot iron is placed on it.It's also great if you want to rest your iron face down while it's cooling so you can put it away safely.The pad gets hot/warm to the touch if you leave the iron on it but that's to be expected.

Excellent iron stand. Sits flat on the shelf and is heat resistant and non scratch.

Brilliant product - I wish I'd bought one before. Modern ironing boards are totally impractical when it comes to standing your iron between use. This seems to be the perfect solution and absorbs all the heat, protecting whatever is underneath. No more balancing the iron on its end and worrying about either knocking it over or burning myself. Probably far safer than the heat absorbing asbestos iron rests I remember ironing boards being fitted with in my childhood!
