These 8 Ohm 2W 28mm round speakers work great for small electronics and DIY projects. They are easy to wire up and fit nicely into compact spaces. The sound quality is surprisingly good for their size and they work reliably. Getting 8 speakers for the price is a great value, especially for hobby or repair projects.

Great price! Check the size on these when you order them, they are quite small. These are much smaller than I was envisioning and the wires are of such thin gauge they are difficult to strip and use with my hobby projects.

Good price for 8 speakers

Speakers were used to replace a dead speaker in a Bachmann HO model locomotive. The original was an 8 ohm 0.4 W, and this 8 ohm 2 W one worked very well. Sound was clear and crisp. Packaging leaves to be desired though. The 8 speakers are clumped together in a small bag, and the magnets cling from one to another. That's a recipe for having many of the speakers' delicate membranes damaged. I know these are cheap but even a small piece of paper between both layers of speakers would go a great way to avoid the top ones from damaging the bottom ones. The speakers themselves are nice and deserve more careful packaging.
