Can this be used to slave an analog synth (eg microkorg) to specific bpm?

It performs realtime analysis and emits MIDI for the purpose of allowing MIDI devices to sync to a track's tempo. So if the device in question syncs to MIDI tempo information, yes. That said, any manual tempo entry is performed by selecting ranges of tempo and tap tempo. It's not designed for entry of a specific tempo a la E-RM Midiclock.

Very versatile bit of equipment

Great piece of kit. I use it to take an audio pulse to generate MIDI clock from samples or the beat metronome out of my zoom multitrack recorder. Also i use it for a bit of sampling but less so as i have plenty of sampling in my equipment.

fun tool, not as great as i thought it would be.

useful thing but requires your beatmatching to be pretty darn accurate, also a lag time on the start button makes it near impossible to start it on beat.
