Bic Cristal Xtra Bold Ballpoint Pen, Bold Point (1.6mm) For Vivid And Dramatic Lines, Black, 24-Count

Ok so these are my go to pens they write super smooth and are slightly thinker than a standard pen. I work with a lot of kids currently doing their GCSEs and they always borrow my coloured ones so I got these for them for their exams and they loved them.

I go through a lot of pens, like writing and finishing the ink all the way to empty. Since delivery, to this review, have used up 3 pens so far. Many hours of writing. Bought 5 boxes, so that is 60 pens, 57 pens to go. Each Bic pen, wrote smooth and dark, no issues from start to end. Best and most economical writing system so far. Will reorder another batch again soon.

Simple ink pens. Just what I wanted. Good for travel and work. Affordable so there’s no upset when one inevitably goes missing. Simple and effective.

I think everyone has used the classic Bic crystal pens at one point or another and they were great. However I like to write with a wider line than the usual 1.0 mm classic Bic pen and was buying quite expensive 1.6 mm gel pens instead. I then read a blog by Seattle Sketcher, Gabriel Campanario who was using a Bic Crystal Bold (1.6 mm) pen. I tried it out and loved it. All the advantages of the inexpensive but wonderful classic Bic pen in a bold stroke. Because they put out quite a bit of ink they don't last tremendously long but a fine trade off for a smooth, fun and inexpensive pen for writing or sketching. Recommended.
