I put this unit out on my patio to control some accent lighting. This allows full control, via the Meross App and my smart home controller, to set On/Off cycles for these lights. Each outlet can be named and programed separately according to your desired schedule. Weather proof is a given for an outdoor rated fixture. Works great and I give this 5 stars and do recommend this item.

after buying a string of outdoor deck lights, we wanted to add a dimmer (they were a bit too bright), and this device promised to add voice and app control. We still feel a bit silly saying "Alexa, deck on (off)" but boy is that easy. And the app is nice for turning them on from the car miles away on our way home. It was abit putsy to set up but has worked great ever since. Important: this model requires you to have a dedicated 2.4 GHz wifi network, which we do but is getting increasingly rare. Also, during initial setup with the Meross app, you need to set your phone's wifi to the Meross device's wifi (which I missed at first).

This was a bit tricky to set up as the directions were NOT good, but once I had it figured out it was super easy to connect to my WiFi. We have it installed under our covered deck to have our lights and speakers plugged into. It is a blast working it from my phone and really is exactly what I was looking for. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the directions are not clear. Anyone who is not tech-savvy is going to get lost setting them up.. But so far it was very much worth the price.

One completely quit working after 4 months. Otherwise they're nice and easy to use/connect. I haven't decided if I'm going to give the Meross outlet another try so all outlkets are on same app, or just replace all outlets with a different brand. Maybe this one that stopped working was a one-off - who knows.UPDATE 5/10/2023: Meross reached out to me (without me needing to contact them) about the issues I was experiencing. They seemed genuinely concerned about my satisfaction with the outlet. They also wanted more information about the outlet itself so they could research the manufacturer of the components. They replaced the outlet and I had it asbout 2 days later.Everything is working as it should, and bot out the outlets are working perfectly.5 stars on the outlet and the app. 10 stars if I could on Meross' customer service!

I bought this 3 plug outdoor smart plug because I upgraded to a new water fountain and I want to control the water fall separate from the LED lights plus still control my LED yard lights. Setup was fairly simple but I am an ex-IT administrator so I don't have issues with setting up most all electronic devices (just an FYI). After working for almost 3 weeks, the plug started turning itself on/off repeatedly when my nighttime setup comes on (nothing like having a flashing light show in your front yard!). I did my typical IT troubleshooting steps and reset the plug to factory and reset up all my timers, the same thing happened the next evening! This is when I reached out to Customer Support since I am now 2 day's past the 30 day return policy.The response I got was that they were sorry I was having issues and could I provide a video for them - easy enough and I did send it that night. The next day I got a response to "reset" the plug to factory settings as that should resolve the issue - so again, I do the reset and the very same thing happened again that night - flashing lights on/off/on/off for each of the 3 plugs. I take another video and email it back with the results and asked about an RMA to return the plug as I do NOT trust it to work and am afraid of what damage it will do to my water pump in the fountain and all the lights.I understand I'm corresponding with a company based outside of the US but it has been 5 day's now and they have yet to respond - total silence! I have gone back to my original 2-plug smart outlet that works (different brand) and I will just reside myself to having the fountain LED lights on 24/7 (at least they are LEDs so not much power drawn).I really wanted to like this outdoor smart plug but it would have to WORK for me to even give it 2 stars - I wish I could give it negative stars for the poor customer service! Maybe if you live somewhere that is not in the sweltering heat like we have in Texas, this plug would be OK? But I would NOT suggest it to anyone I know.

I haven't tried using this outdoors, but it's been super convenient to add 3 smart plugs to my room and only take up 1 outlet. Works seamlessly with Google Home for automation, and I like the built in button to manually switch the outputs on/off.

The media could not be loaded.  This is my second order and I love it because you can control 3 sockets individually and setup timer via app for each socket.It's waterproof and weather proof, I recommend it to allBe mindful that it only works with 2.4GHZ WiFi

Thus dimmer switch works well for th functions that is does. It doesn't have a schedule in the app to set, or turn on when my phone comes with in the vicinity. Thus was easy to set up. What I'm hoping for is that it doesn't go "off line" as a competitor does and seems to need to be replaced.This dimmer/switch also has a manual function for the on/off and dimmer so you don't have to use your phone.The dimmer function doesn't seem to go as dim as some others, that is that 1% is brighter than 1% on other brands... all about setting the ambience.

Worked as described and great for the first 60 days. Then it stopped working completely. The return/exchange window was passed as it was only 30 days but they sent me a replacement free of charge anyway. Works great again, and great customer service of getting it replaced quickly.
