Worth every penny
I’ve been using my headset for conference calls all day every day for years. Adding the dongle made the calls crisper and the range longer. The team asked me this week if I replaced my headset because they no longer hear any crackling (when I don’t mention I walk away from my machine). Using it for work? Get it.

Great adapter but pricey
Does what it needs to do but pricey for just a usb c adapter for the opencomm unit.

Way over priced
I purchased this so that I could use my laptop with my Shokz head seat without having to constantly take in/out the USB-A or USB-C port (from desktop computer to my laptop). I will say this one (USB-C adaptor) is much better made than the USB-A adaptor that came with my original Shokx head set kit. With that said, this is a ridiculous price. This thing should be $20 tops. Doesn't even come with a storage case of any sort. If you can find a comparable brand/technology at a better price, I would do it.

Works great
This device has extended my connection range. The integration works well. The only change is that the button functions aren’t working consistently between zoom and teams.

Doesn’t work
It connects to the headset, but people can’t hear me and I can these them.

You need this if you attend meetings
simply put, if you don't have this, using shokz with your computer is an exercise in futility.

Fixes the Teams mute beep!!!
Only ranked 4 out of 5 due to the price. Hard to swallow $50 addition to an ove $100 initial purchase, but I chocked it up to Shokz improving the overall product over time. I have the original headset they offered and was bothered by the beeping on mute in Teams, and some days over 50% of my day is spent on Teams calls. Quick Plug and play set up and good to go. So up to the individual buyer to weigh the cost vs. the benefit of eliminating the Teams beep.

The SHOKZ Loop 100 USB-C Wireless Adapter is a tiny dongle that improves Bluetooth pairing and offers a stable link for the Shokz OpenComm 2 headset. Let’s get over the hard part: this dongle is expensive. Very expensive. But, after a few months of use, I can begrudgingly admit the money was well invested. This dongle is so stable. I wear a headset all day, and there are no dropouts or disconnects when using this dongle. It pairs instantly and seamlessly; there is an LED light to show stars, and I can range around my office while talking without fear of breaking a connection. The only thing I fear now is losing this tiny thing! :-) I make a point of leaving it plugged into my computer whenever possible, and make sure to put it back in the box, which I’ve marked “DON’T THROW OUT.” The best review I can give this tiny, expensive dongle is that I would immediately order another if I lost it.

If you plan to use your Shokz headset with your computer (or USB-C 'ported' phone: it'll work in that too) this provides an instant, stable connection. Frankly, don't try using your Shokz headset with a computer without this dongle – the experience is horrendous. Two things that leave a bad taste in my mouth though: 1) How Shokz can justify charging £50 for this item is beyond me. It's a USB Bluetooth transmitter that probably costs pennies to make which they've slapped their own firmware on to lock it all down. 2) You can only pair one Shokz headset device with the dongle at a time. If you have a second Shokz headset and want to use that with a computer, you'll have a buy a second dongle and pair it to that, or have to go through the hassle of re-pairing the respective headset to the single dongle each time you want to swap. There is no technical reason why this dongle couldn't be simultaneously paired to several Shokz headsets apart from being programmed to not be able to. This behaviour is confirmed with Shokz support. "One remembered pairing per dongle". Want another? Buy another dongle. Very Apple, Shokz, very Apple. I bought this for my wife's second Shokz headset as, due to the nature of her job, she has to hot-swap quickly and cannot mess about re-paring things. Quite like the Shokz headset and was thinking of buying myself a few. This has put me off and I'll just stick to my Poly/HP earpiece. A Poly/HP dongle can be paired to 10 different headsets. One to remember if you're a computer or headset hopper. Anyway: Probably five stars for how well the dongle works Three stars for the price-gouging anti-consumer behaviour.
