The Illuminated Tarot: 53 Cards for Divination & Gameplay (The Illuminated Art Series)

Beautiful and original art, great quality card stock and printing, lovely presentation box and concise booklet. The cards are large, but given the quality of the art and printing this is a good thing. You can lose yourself in these illustrations. They are highly emotive. The card stock is sturdy (not a bad thing) and a little thicker than normal and that does make shuffling tricky. No big deal! I would recommend this set to anyone who enjoys expressive tarot card designs and art in general.

Clever, modern, enchanting and free of guff & other unnecessary over-intellectual ornamentations. I have studied the many versions of the Tarot for over forty years and thank Caitlin Keegan for freeing this version from the hackneyed accretions & unnecessary over analysis (verging on paralysis) that had come to the fore in recent decades. For me the Tarot is primarily a source for quiet contemplation and reflection using symbols for prompting & interpretation rather than a didactic system of the occult, others will no doubt disagree, c'est la vie. Caitlin has provided a simplified yet beautiful addition to the iterations of the Tarot. To quote Leonardo Da Vinci "Simplification is the ultimate sophistication" so thank you Caitlin. If you use the Tarot for personal reflection and development or to help you to become the best version of who you truly are then IMHO you can do far, far worse than use this deck. Highly recommended. And once again, thank you Caitlin.

Absolutely beautiful deck, the drawings are amazing and the box itself looks really nice. Large, solid looking cards that double up as a playing card deck. The booklet is useful but not extremely detailed - if you are looking for a full guide you might want to get something else on top of this deck/have a look on the internet. Perfect if you want a soft introduction to tarot though!

Great quality and the cards are beautiful. However, the booklet that comes with the cards to describe what each card means isn't useful at all and I had to use google instead.

Love them, great illustrations! Wish book it comes with had more info... but then at the same time, tarot is about your own interpretations of the cards.

This is the most beautiful tarot deck I have ever come across. The quality of the cards is great & love the box and little booklet that come along with it. Great starter pack.

Amazing, there really well made strong card. I was just using a normal deck of playing cards, so I decided to get these, well worth it.

These are really attractive cards. I love the artwork on them, which is why I bought them. As a tarot user I found them rather frustration. I don't see the benefit of making less cards. I also found it. very hard to see what they were supposed to represent in terms of suits, because the artwork was so busy. I have been reading cards for people for twenty three years now, and I've read all kinds of decks for people in the past. I was really excited to try these because I enjoy something new, but I just didn't warm to them. I certainly wouldn't use them with a client. I'd much prefer them as artworks.

First the box is soooo good!! Card stock is amazing,they shuffle so well!! Images are so vibrant detailed. This isn't a deck for beginners because major arcana cards are put into minor arcana(thus reducing number of cards to 53). It might be confusing and tough to get used to it at first. But once you are comfortable with this,you will love it!! Its so good that now it has become my "go-to" deck for any queries. I'm loving it! Glad that i got one..if you are bored of RWS and its clone decks,try this..its amazing! No regrets whatsoever..♥️♥️♥️

I wasn't sure what to expect from this deck. The art is unique and beautiful. The cards are big, more like an oracle card deck. The cardstock is thick and seems like it would hold up well. The simple guidebook is in full colour and gives a few words on each card - just enough. The author has combined some of the major and minor arcana cards to make it a 53 card deck (rather than 78), but this is made pretty clear from the artwork and by thumbing through the guidebook. I was really looking forward to using them. Just shuffling through the cards they had a lovely energy to them. However, my deck arrived missing the '0' card (the fool/joker) which is a pretty important card to be missing! Unfortunately I have had to send mine back. I plan to pick up another copy, hoping for a complete deck this time!

Quando si parla di "tarocchi" si intende un mazzo di carte formato dagli arcani maggiori (Folle, Mago, ecc) e da quelli minori italiani (coppe, spade, ecc). Per questo motivo gli Illuminated Tarot non sono tarocchi, perché si tratta di un mazzo di carte francesi. Bè, certo... di tutto rispetto! Sono disegnate in modo particolarissimo, con illustrazioni bidimensionali coloratissime in uno stile tra il naif e il surreale. C'è anche un bel libretto a colori con i significati e tutto il resto. Per questo merita 5 stelle.

手元にくるまで時間が掛かり不安になりましたが、コロナの影響だそうです。お店へ連絡すると、大変誠実なご対応で信頼出来る方が運営なさっていると感じました。 カード自体も大変気に入りました。トランプに大アルカナが一部意味が含まれていて、他のタロットとは違い面白いリーディングができそうです。 個人的に個性的なものが好きなので、大切にしたいと思いました。 絵柄も好きです。
