Dead by Daylight Special Edition (PS4)

The game itself is brilliant and is hours of fun online. (ITS AN ONLINE ONLY GAME) I have owned it for years now digitally on PS4 but finally got round to buying a physical copy for the shelf. Physical copy came sealed brand new and in great condition.

What was originally a Christmas present to the boyfriend has easily turned into my most favourite PS4 game we own.You can take control as either the 'killer' or the 'survivor' - each being met with very different skillsets and requirements for you to pass the level. What makes this game great is the inability to speak to one another, so you're left in the dark. Instead, you are online (with either strangers or friends) and have to communicate in other ways to work together.I'm a huge fan of playing as one of the killers (you have a few to select from, as well as additional DLCs), and is definitely great after a long hard day at work when you need to blow off some steam!Although it's a simple and non-complex game, this keeps me amused for hours on end and I can never get enough of it. Seems like it will never get old.

Very good game. Keeps you on your toes. You can either be a Hunter where you find the survivors and basically annihilate them through a selection of different hunters with abilities or killing moves before they can either escape via a door or escape hatch. Alternatively you can try your wits at being a survivor and activate all 5 generators on the map without being found by the Hunter. You get perks and abilities as a survivor and there are different characters to choose from with unique abilities they can contribute with any of the three survivors in your party. You can upgrade and customise both Hunter and survivor. It's a game of cat and mouse in a nutshell with gore and adrenaline. A must buy

Amazing game of hide and seek with friends and strangers.You can either play as one of your survivors, trying to turn on generators in order to open the doors and escape the area or play as the killer and try and stop the victims from escaping.You can pick from a number of survivors who all the play the same expect each one has certain skills that helps them in the field.You can choose from a wide range of typical horror killers such as a witch, a tall masked man, a chainsaw wielding hillbilly, a surgeon, an voodoo priest and a nurse.Each killer has unique skills that allow them to kill off survivors, such as laying traps or teleporting.The killers see in a first person view which limits their vision, however they can sense load noises (such as generators blowing up and survivors moving too fast).The victims are In a third person view, giving them a wider field of view, however their senses are limited.Whilst there is a limited variety of levels, each game is different. Generators and exits spawn in different locations each time and playing with and against different people each game makes each one unpredicable.There are only only handful of cons to this game however. Waiting to get into a server can take up to half an hour and a few gameplay glitches can break the immersion such as the escape point not activating properly.However im sure most of these would be patch out with a later update but a great game none the less.

It's a good game. I'm addicted. Good strategy.Only issues are:If your playing an online game, at the end of the game you have to exit then search for a new game as opposed to it just starting a new match automatically. You spend more time waiting for a game as a survivor than a killer.You should be able to talk to other players; without having to add them as a friend and start a chat party whilst game is running. Killer should be able to talk to you, when close, or when he/she has caught you.Needs more variety of skins. More customisation. I'd love camouflage.Developers need to bring out more new stuff so it beats competition.
