This media player looks great right out of the box. After a short setup, I loaded my library of music and videos on it. The screen is absolutely gorgeous. Bright and sharp with bright colors. Viewing angles were also splendid. I know a few people have claimed otherwise. Maybe they didn't know how to adjust it. On my unit it's beautiful. The unit is very fast and responsive. I downloaded all my favorite apps from the Play Store. It sounds great through headphones or Bluetooth, and the videos are stunning. This will solve a lot of problems for me. I want one Central unit to use for media. I don't want to tie up my phone. This unit fills the bill splendidly. Highly recommended.

UPDATE 8-10-23 I have forgotten my password to get into one of these because I bought 4 of them for different people at the same time and I still have all but one, they are all switched around now and I should have recorded what passwords that I had used but I am unable to find the list. I am trying to figure out how to reset but the address they give us for help does not respond. [email protected] 3-14-23 I bought 4 of these players for people for Christmas. I have been working since Nov to get SD cards and music for them . I have only used them a handful of times. I just went to power one and it is totally dead. I have tried a couple cords so it is not that. I am trying to contact the MFR by mail and will update with what happens. The battery seems to drain easily, with only maybe 5 hours playtime. There are other models out there, that have wifi but you cannot access the Google playstore, so you are stuck with whatever aps they give you and you cannot get app updates. Pay attention carefully to the specs when shopping. Also, the case that Amazon is recommending as a bundle purchase will not fit this model, which is the Pecsu G5. The case that I found that fits perfect is a USA GEAR, you can choose from colors but make sure outer dims are at least 6.25 x 4.38 x 1.38 inches, because that is what I have and it fits perfectly!! I had tried the Pecsu PS5 MP3 unit and that had issues, it seems this has all the same issues just a smaller battery and Google Play now available through the OS which is still limited to the 2018 version of 8.1This unit is heavy and even heavier than my Samsung S10E which I use as a media player. This unit besides being heavier is just about 1/4 shorter than the S10e. But the S10e runs on android 12 and does more. Plus the battery on this G5 is less than their PS5 unit, why?The G5 has really no output power, it can barely push a 16ohm set of headphones. The entire OS lags and studders and the screen sensitivity is not much to better with a low resolution.Now having access to Google Play will allow you to download your Fav apps, for those apps that still allow to be used with android 8.1. Some of the apps I was looking to use are not available to download because of this.I can not speak on how the bluetooth works, as I decided to return this 5 minutes after it booted up. There are better MP3 players that use android 8.1 that have better sound, screen and less lag, with a 4 inch screen. This unit is just too big and heavy, for a portable MP3 player.

With the iPod being discontinued I needed a player for Audible books that could handle my library. I purchased another player from this seller that did not allow me to use SD card for Audible files and I returned.After emails with the seller regarding it's ability to save Audible files to the SD card as well as pros and cons vs. the prior player, I purchased this player. Unlike the other player this one has access to the Google store which meant I could download the most current Audible app. BE AWARE the player allows you to format the SD card as internal memory or as removable storage. DO NOT format the card as internal as Audible will not use the card to store audio books. After reformatting the card as removable and selecting the card for downloads in the app, I was able to download my entire library and the app worked fine.The Bluetooth pairing to my car was quick and easy and appears to be working fine.All in all for Audible files, which is the only use I have for it, the player works as well as the iPod I replaced.
