I’ve had 2 bottles for 4 yrs, keep lid tight and dry, stops it being contaminated, should be ok. But I can’t answer the question technically

what colour oil is it? is it red?

It used to be oil coloured viz yellowish but now I think it is red, Certainly, the last two times I bought 2-T oil it was red. Mind you, it might be a special 2 stroke oil. I encountered red oil when Stihl was selling it and the mixture was 1:50 whereas the oil I had been using was supposed to be used at 1:25. and it was yellowish. I hope that helped
