Hawkings Bigboy Aluminium Pressure Cooker

Purchased the 22 litre big boi. It does exactly what it should. The manual is in-depth with a variety of recipes to try with it and it's built extremely well.One thing worth noting - The lid is Oval. So, if you see people commenting that the lid doesn't fit, then I'm afraid they haven't quite grasped the shape.It's quite heavy, but the handle(s) make up for that.

Great quality and price.

Arrived scratched, small chips and dents in it, plastic discoloured and formed with dirt, fluffy and fingerprints. Poor build quality all round must be made in the streets of India and not a proper factory. This may be small things but for the price and the fact the item is supposed to be brand new it's unacceptable.Arrived smelling very strongly of feces/manure which has came from the cardboard packaging. Possibly an Amazon issue as I e had a couple of items smelling this way recently.Severe safety concerns over this product as despite a stamped CE branding it just doesn't look or feel up to the task.You also loose a good bit of inside space because of the way the lid has to be dropped inside to fit which definitely reduces the capacity from 22l to significantly less - I feel this is extremely misleading. Also the mark up on this product is massive from the importers. Wouldn't recommend and will now have to search elsewhere for a similar specced cooker.Had this been a secons hand cooker or a cheap cooker I'd have given it 3 stars but the fact it's brand new and I fear may amputate a limb it's a one from me.Also no reply from seller regarding issues. Holding in to this item when I needed to use it last week has cost me greatly.

Ok, the pot is well built but in order to actually use it the lid had to be inserted inside the pot at an angle. This means you can't fill this pot more than halfway/ two thirds (maybe) with out the lid not being able to fit. It says 20L but usable space is more like 10-14L. I bought a presto pressure cooker in the end. Way better.

It’s a very cheap quality I don’t like it

Unfortunately this pressure cooker pot isn't worth the money continuous issues cooking maybe for domestic use but definitely not commercial 😕

The product was delivered with with a lid that did not fit the pan. I am unable to use the product. Not much I can add to this review apart from that.
