I really do love these clocks ( we have 2 of them ) they are a good size in the kitchen/craft room that I can see at a glance. They are very accurate, keep time well and are SILENT. They genuinely are really good. One of which I've had several years, the batteries last months and months. They are so easy to read, that the grandchildren have each learnt to tell the time using these clocks. I also like that they re-set the time themselves twice a year.

Bought for a neighbour who is suffering cognitive decline and losing track of what day it is. The clock is very easy to set up and keeps time superbly, and auto-adjusts with daylight saving. The display is dark figures on light background and easy to see in daylight, but it is not backlit. Whilst I knew about this at the time of ordering, the abbreviation of the days (Sunday = Sun etc), whilst fine for people of ordinary function, seems to confuse my elderly friend, and with hindsight, I'd choose a version with the days in full, although these are more expensive. The addition of room temp is also largely superfluous in this instance. In summary excellent clock and good value, but not ideal for someone with dementia.

I have owned a few of these over the years and always been pleased with them. Good clear display and radio controlled accuracy. My only criticism (hence four stars not five) is the small plastic fold out brackets at the back, needed if you want the clock to stand on a surface rather than hang on a wall. These are flimsy and break rather too easily - so be careful! Other than that, it's an excellent clock.

Bought this Radio Controlled clock for my Mother who has memory problems. A great Clock set at the 12 hr AM & PM. If my Mother is unsure of the date and day she can now look at the clock for this information. The clock stands out and is big enough to see with the large details of time, day, date and temperature.

Very easy to set up. Display is lovely and clear. Looks lovely on my unit. It is also wall mountable. Great that it is radio controlled so the clock is always right. Display was broken on the 1st one that was delivered but had no issues returning it for a free replacement.

Nice little clock although the vertical viewing angle isn't the best. Seen head-on or from either side the display is crystal clear, the problem comes when viewing the clock from an acute angle from above or below, the display becomes muddled and it's hard to make out what it says, you're forced to reposition yourself in order to read the display clearly. To get the best out of it you'd need to find an optimal position to display the clock, otherwise you'll be forever leaning back or tilting your head to be able to read it clearly, not ideal if you only want a quick glance to see what the time is, which in fairness is what finding out the time should always be, unless you like staring at clocks like a maniac.

Everything works !!! Acquired time signal within minutes, very pleased with it !!

I have owned two of these for a year and I'm very pleased with them. They're still running on the first set of alkaline batteries (two AA-size). I've sited them in the lounge and the kitchen, on a table surface. They need to be placed where they don't get knocked, as the fold-out supporting legs collapse inwards quite easily. The one in the lounge is positioned by the TV and is useful for programme timings. As with all radio-corrected clocks you may need to position it close to a window, so that it can pick-up the signal and self-correct. I had a particular position in mind on a wall, but then found it wouldn't pick up the signal. I was previously given a round, sweep-hand, self-correcting clock but it had an annoying 'tick', audible when there was no background noise; however, these clocks operate silently. The US-style 'reverse' date isn't a problem as I'm used to seeing the same on my watch, but it could be confusing if you're not used to it... is it the fifth day of the sixth month or the sixth of the fifth one? (I see that Amazon now sells a more costly version of Youshiko clock with UK-style dates.) They're totally accurate, and the temperature display is useful to confirm my house temperature when the heating is on. I've started to use glasses to read, and I struggle to read the digits on my wrist-watch in dim light, so these clocks are a real boon. They can be read from the side at about 10 degrees, and from about 9 paces away in subdued light. I'm buying another one for my elderly mother, as she's always asking 'What day is it?' or 'What's the date?', especially when taking her medication. The style is fine for a modern interior, but maybe it wouldn't really suit a strongly traditional/retro decor. Anyway, an excellent, well-priced buy... and a very worthwhile present, too.

L’orologio di per se’ è anche bello, bianco, lineare, però è per il mercato inglese, Manuale solo in inglese ed essendo radio controllato l’orario torna sempre su quello dell’inghilterra! Quindi impossibile usarlo in Italia

Non è possibile impostare un fuso orario, ritorna sempreverde un'ora indietro. Se aperto ed eliminato l antenna (è quella in foto) funziona bene ma senza controllo radio
