Very good and......
....great value for the money. The leather scabbard is made of relatively thick leather at this price point and the blade edge part of it is reinforced. The knife itself looks good and feels pretty well balanced. On unpacking, the blade does feel particularly sharp, but it sliced through raw chicken breast almost effortlessly. Like it so much I might buy my brother in law one for Christmas!

Impressive Blade
**Tony's Review: Fubinaty Chef's Knife**As someone who enjoys spending time in the kitchen, finding the right tools is essential. The Fubinaty Chef's Knife caught my eye with its promise of handmade craftsmanship and high carbon steel construction.First impressions matter, and the knife arrived impressively packaged, reflecting the care taken in its presentation. Holding it for the first time, the weight felt balanced, which is crucial for control and comfort during extended use.The blade itself, made from high carbon steel, is a standout feature. It's evident that this knife is forged with attention to detail; the edge is sharp right out of the box, allowing for precise cutting through various ingredients. Whether slicing through tomatoes or chopping herbs, the knife performed admirably, maintaining its edge well throughout use.The full tang construction adds to its durability and stability, giving confidence that this knife will endure years of regular use in the kitchen. The handle, while simple, is ergonomic and provides a secure grip, reducing fatigue even during prolonged tasks.Cleaning and maintenance have been straightforward. The knife is not dishwasher safe (which is typical for high-quality knives), but a quick hand wash and dry are all that's needed to keep it in pristine condition.Overall, the Fubinaty Chef's Knife is a solid choice for anyone looking to upgrade their kitchen tools. It combines traditional craftsmanship with practical functionality, making it a reliable companion for both amateur cooks and seasoned chefs alike.

The genuine Cutting Edge!
I have always kept a full set of kitchen knives, one for every job, and I have striven to keep them keen. This knive, in one fell swoop had made them all, except the breadknife, redundant. I would bever have imagined that so chunky-a-looking knife could be so versatile. It is now the only knife I use.Oh, and by the way, it is, and stays, exceedinly sharp! Even the slightest light touch to tight skin, and through it goes, I know, I ccidently touched very briefly,a knuckle on my hand, it wasn't even a brush, just the ligtest of touches, and a sticky paster was needed!!! So BEWARE!really exceptional pice of kitchen equipment! I could not live without it now.

Wow! it is sharp.
This knife is sharp and a lot heaver than I expected but ideal for chopping vegetables on a wooden board, love it and the way it is made I doubt I will ever have to buy another one. Thank you who ever made this one,

Cheap and cheerful. Sharp and weighty. Not a quality item
Certainly arrived sharp - don’t be tempted to spin it with the hole - that’s how I found out it’s bloody sharp - literally. Cheap and nasty plastic sheath. Definitely not hand made - hammer effect is clearly machine stamped. Bit of a novelty item really compared to similar style knives . Cheap and cheerful. Weighty enough but whether it keeps an edge - we’ll see
