Sturdy, Comfortable and Simple to Install
Simple to install and set up (pretty much ready to go for stage 0+ out of the box). Very sturdy, very comfortable looking seat. The only negative thing that comes to mind is that the button to loosen the straps is hidden under the lining and can be a little hard to find: there's a slit in the lining to access the button, but I've spent a couple of minutes blindly wiggling my fingers about before finding it. But overall very, very happy with this car seat so far.

Amazing car seat saves me money by not having to buy another one ever. My child is still rear facing at 3 years old and very comfortable

Great car seat but pricey
Whilst researching for a group 1 car seat for my son, I came across a lot of advertising 3 and 4 in 1 car seats. I thought it would be a worthwhile investment to purchase one of these than having to buy a car seat for each group stage as I did with my first son. Between the graco milestone and Joie every stage, I decided to settle for the Joie.PRICE AND AVAILABILITYAfter much research, the cheapest price I found for this car seat was with Kiddie Kingdom at £179.95. The delivery was quick and painless (ordered Wednesday got it Friday). On average, prices were around the £200 mark. This seat is widely available from various stores and online suppliers.THE CAR SEATJoie every stage car seat is a well known multistage car seat (groups 0+,1,2 and 3) with a prolonged rear facing option. It's similar to its predecessor, Joie stages, but unlike the stages which goes from birth to 7 years, the Joie every stage can be used from birth right up to a massive 36kgs/12 years. The seat came as a single unit, so there were no worries about assembling parts together. Safety and comfort were paramount in its design as its nicely padded around the head and sides and appears super comfortable. My son looks so comfortable and snug in the seat that even my six year old son started to complaint that he didn't want his seat anymore! The cover is made from a soft breathable fabric that can be wiped clean or can be easily removed and put in wash if preferred. There are two mesh side pockets at the side of the seat (at the base) which, in my opinion, would have been better to have as cup holders instead especially for the older child. However, it is still useful in holding other things including a cup or bottle. As it can be used from birth, the seat comes with a newborn insert and has a 5 point harness. The harness can be easily stored away when the seat is ready to be used as a group 2 booster seat which i thought was really neat. However, I do find it a bit fiddly to use and the padding over the base for the clip easily comes off and gets in in way which can be a bit irritating. For added comfort whilst travelling, Joie every stage offers 5 reclining positions for tilt options at every stage: 1 in the rear facing position and 4 in the forward facing position. The degree of tilt are indicated by red and blue arrows found at the base of the chair. This car seat is available in four colours: urban ( grey and black), salsa (red), eclipse (blue) and two tone black. I've opted for the two tone black. If it's gonna last for 12 years, then the darker colour would hide a multitude of sins!INSTALLATIONInstalling the car seat, was easy although the provided instructions weren't user friendly. Thank God for YouTube! After a quick review, the seat was installed in car in a matter of minutes. Quite simple and straightforward once figured out. I fitted the seat front facing rather than rear facing, even though it can be used rear facing until the child is 18kg/4years. As the seat is bulky, it can take up a lot of space rear facing but forward facing it does not take up much room. However, my front passenger seat may need to be pushed forward a bit to accommodate my son's legs as he gets older. Once the seat is fitted and the child is in situ, the headrest needs to to adjusted so that the harness straps are positioned above the shoulders. The great thing about this is that adjusting the headrest also adjusts the harness straps simultaneously and requires no retreading of the harness straps. This can be done simply by moving the headrest up or down until you achieve the desired position.Although this seat can recline, the recline position has to be chosen before fitting the seat. Which in my opinion is a real shame as I thought that this would have enabled me to adjust the tilt as and when needed as we had with a previous group 1 car seat we had for our first son. However, the recommended tilt for this stage seems to be perfect as my son isn't positioned too forward for when he's asleep and not tilted too far back for when he's awake.Apart from the unhelpful instructions, the manual outlines which cars models and year that this car seat would be appropriate for. This information would have been handy beforehand as I just manage to fall into the group for my car. Also, This car seat is not isofix compatable, which is a real shame as I was previously using an isofix with my group 0 car seat.MY VERDICTOverall, I'm happy with my purchase so far. It is a tad more expensive than its rivals but in the long run, works out to be cheaper if it last the 12 years promised. Apart from a few niggling issues with the instructions, harness and the recline, this is a good car seat that is of high quality and built with comfort and safety in mind. I'm hoping that it does live up to its promises. Will keep updating as we progress into each group so watch this space.

Beautiful and well built seat
Beautiful and well built seat. This car seat was worth every bit I spent on it for my child's safety. I only wish I would have bought it sooner.

Would reccomend :)
Excellent seat, really padded and comfortable looking. Son falls asleep easily in it and can still face backwards at 19 months old which was really important to us.

Rubbish straps let this product down!
It's good that you can use from a very young age however the straps let this product down. They twist so easily and once they're twisted you are unable to pull the belt to tighten them. I've often found myself having to take my little boy out again to try and sort them to make it safe to travel in. Mine also didn't come with the seatbelt pads either. I messaged the seller but got no response which is annoying when I paid so much for it. I ended up buying my own to make it more comfortable for my son. Overall wouldn't recommend for the money you pay.

Contentos
