If you have the money, spend it on these. The speakers are thinner than any others I've found, the sound can't be heard by my wife lying next to me, and the wireless charging works great once you figure out where to make charger contact on the headphones.

I am a fan of Sleepphones and have been for years. I've had three pairs of wired units, all with the Breeze fabric which is quite comfortable.But yes, did you catch that? I've gone through three pairs of wired ones, all lasting about a year before the wire breaks. This time, I sprang for the $150 Bluetooth ones. I'm already disappointed. The sound quality is inferior to the wired ones. It's almost as if there is clipping (distortion) when there is something loud in the source video--regardless of what volume you have then set to. I'm debating whether it's worth asking for a replacement unit.So, comfort is 5 stars. Battery life is 5 stars. Build quality is unknown (but wired ones were terrible so I'm not expecting better here). Sound quality is 2 stars. Value for the price is 2 stars. YMMV.

My experience with this product proved disappointing. Unfortunately, the left earpiece was non-functional, in stark contrast to the impressive sound quality from the right side. On a positive note, the Acoustic Sheep SleepPhones featured a comfortable and soft band, adding to the overall pleasantness during use. However, despite careful measurement for a medium size, the SleepPhones turned out excessively loose, frequently slipping off during the night.This unexpected fit issue significantly diminished the product's intended functionality, leaving me dissatisfied overall. The mixed performance, with notable positives like sound quality and comfort, alongside the encountered issues, creates a rather inconsistent user experience. In conclusion, while there are promising aspects to the product, such as sound quality and comfort, addressing the sizing discrepancy would be crucial to enhance its overall effectiveness.

I use the sleep phones to listen to brown noise to help me sleep. The sound quality is good and the two speakers are flat and unobtrusive. As a side sleeper this is very helpful. The woven band is comfortable. I do not share the negative comments about the control panel made by others. I found them to be intuitive in their 3-button alignment (vertical); large on/off button in the center and one smaller button above and below it for volume control. They can be found and easily operated by feeling for them through the headband in the night. I put the control panel at the base of my neck/head in the same location each night which makes it easy to find they controls. I do not have to remove the control panel/battery from the headband. My only complaint is that the speakers cannot be fixed or made stationary directly over my ears; they have to be reset at the beginning of each night, and sometimes adjusted during the night. Have use these for only several weeks but I am pleased and would recommend to others. Customer service was great in answering my questions. I would have given a 5-star rating if the speakers could be fixed in place, e.g. with a Velcro type attachment within the headband.

I tried to use this to listen to sounds to sleep better. The control buttons and battery pack located at the back of the head made sleeping on my back uncomfortable. The ear pieces were also quite large and ridged so I would wake up with sore ears if I slept on either side. The app is strange and has a timer, but after the timer ran out, instead of turning off the headphones played static which woke me up. Lastly, I was occasionally trying the volume completely down on accident when I moved in the night. I wish the ear pieces had been more cushioned and the timer had turned off the headset entirely instead of just the sounds. I returned these.

Amazing sound

They are an absolute pain in the butt to work, and I am returning them.

Regrettably, this falls into the category of devices associated with the term “gizmo,” as it simply doesn’t function as intended. Undoubtedly, the creators had good intentions, but it falls short. The audio quality is passable, and the speakers are inconspicuous. However, the issue lies in its design — it doesn’t perform well because the speakers tend to slip during the night. Whatever you were listening to won’t be with you for very long. Therefore, I recommend exploring alternative solutions rather than opting for a “headband” type device.

I’ve tried other sleep headphones but keep returning to this brand. This is the first time I’ve had the magnetic charging vs cord connection and really prefer it. My two previous headphones (same company) were cordless but needed to plug in to charge. Both only lasted 9-12 months as the plug in is delicate and apparently I’m not when plugging the charger in (even when I try to be careful). You can still feel the headphone when side sleeping but I’ve found the type of pillow makes a difference. You can also slightly reposition to move the piece if it’s uncomfortable. The bands stretch with use - LOTS. Keep that in mind when ordering. I have a big head and the medium is a bit loose after a month of use. Wish the controls were along the forehead vs base of neck as it can be annoying to reach the controls at the base of neck without disturbing your perfect sleep position. Also would like it if they developed a band that kept the headphones and control panel from moving too much.

The headphones are difficult to adjust. The Bluetooth charging, although magnetic is also cumbersome and you need to position it just right for it to work. Reasonably comfortable. The audio quality is terrible for headphones costing $200.00. I will not buy these headphones again. Interesting idea. Could be a great product with a little bit of design and engineering work.

Ended up having to return these because the Bluetooth kept losing sync with the audio on my tv.They were somewhat comfortable. About what I expected.The volume was quite low, and the ear pieces move around quite a bit in the band.
