Simple, Sturdy, and Affordable
It is a reliable tool for small woodworking and craft projects. The frame feels solid, and blade changes are quick and straightforward. While it’s a basic saw without extra features, it delivers smooth, precise cuts for the price. A good choice for hobbyists or anyone needing a dependable coping saw at low cost.

Cuts very slowly
I purchased this twice, once through my job to cut neodymium-iron-boron magnets and once for home to cut ceramic tile. In both cases the cutting progressed extremely slowly. The magnets are a hard material, but that is why I chose diamond. Using a 1-mm wire to cut a 3/4"-thick magnet stack, after an hour of sawing, the slot was about 1 mm (0.04") deep. It was generating sawdust at about the same rate after an hour as in the beginning, so the problem was probably not rapid dulling of the blade. A standard hacksaw blade cut a 1/4-thick magnet at a rate of about 1/4" per hour. At home, I tried to use a new saw to square an inside corner in a ceramic tile. (A 1/4" radius was left by the diamond angle-grinder used for the cuts.) I quit after 10 minutes of sawing. In this time, it had cut a groove perhaps 0.02" deep. I did the job with an aluminum-oxide sanding cylinder on a Dremel tool in about 10 minutes. The saws are useless for my applications, but I gave two stars instead of one because they did cut and perhaps would work for other applications. My guess is that either the grit is much too fine for a 1-mm or 0.6-mm saw or the grit contains very little diamond.

Works on steel and cuts very easily how come I didn’t buy this sooner?!
Tricky to setup but once the wire is tightened with a wrench then it doesn’t budge when sawing through steel. Took no time at all to cut a few millimeters precisely in the spot I wanted to cut.

You are definitely not cutting stone or jade with this!
The good thing is the saw itself seems decent and I mean the frame of the saw. It even arrived a day sooner than projected. However, and I emphasize maybe, maybe you could cut wood with with this although I didn't try. I did try on a geode which would be no denser than stone on the outside and Jade on the inside. It was cutting neither. It left a lead like mark where the wire attempted to look like it was sawing through, but that's it. In fact most of the dust I saw after I used it, had to be the quote unquote diamond coating that supposedly made this a diamond cutting blade. After a few passes, the wire was smooth and had no texture to it whatsoever. I even used all sides of the wire thinking that maybe just one side was loose. I wore the wire down smooth as if there was no coating on it whatsoever. I haven't tried to see if plastic or ceramic tile is less dense and could maybe be cut with this without it just stripping the coating off the wire, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. I am always skeptical about reviews that have no details, since people can pay to have people review products and their sites. I wanted to ensure people that I wasn't paid one way or the other for this review and wanted to give details so the buyer could beware. Again the soft frame is a nice adjustable hand saw frame. Just don't get hopes up that you're going to cut much of anything with the actual wire.

Que este sierra se rompe solo mirandola…verdad que el precio no es importante,ma igualmente,no me servir que para un pequeño corte,el "hilo"para cortar se escapa de su sitio no tiene….

I got the 1mm version because I wanted to make a large cut. You need to understand how to tension the wire properly, by first attaching the wire firmly and then adjusting the last screw to tension. I needed a pair of pliers to actually tighten the 3 screws or else it would just come loose all the time. Once I got it set up I was able to make an aggressive cut. No issues, no wire breaking. I am cutting a piece of magnetite and chert so middle hardness levels and high density The saw came with enough wire to make like 15 blades, and I only used 2 to make my cut. Both of them still cut I just wanted to see if a new blade would speed up the cut. If you check the comments everyone with broken wires used thinner wire. If you are trying to bust a fist-sized rock clean in half you probably want something a little thicker If you leave this thing underwater there is some galvanic corrosion near the ends of the wire where 3 metal types meet but I dont think its a problem
