Great product!
I wanted something to help make my basement stairs not so slippery and easy to apply. These are perfect! I just had to peel the film off the adhesive side and stick it onto the step. It’s a nice size and modern looking as well! Will order another set for steps going upstair to our bedrooms now that I see how great these look!

Better than expected
This was such a wonderful purchase. Results were better than expected.Purchased these to replace old cruddy carpet that never seem to get clean after multiple shampoos. I must say, we should have done this ages ago. These looked so good my husband decided to paint the rest of the basement. We still have to put a another coat of paint & varnish on the stairs but what a great improvement.Pros- these are easily removed & washable. No adhesive it clings to your stairs. It holds wonderfully. This was such a win for me.

Great if you have patience for install
These stair treads are great but I didn’t realize that they require double sided tape to adhere to the stairs and the treads did not come with the adhesive already affixed. My boyfriend didn’t have the patience or fingernails to peel the stripping needed for each tread but luckily for us, I got us through.I used a strip on both the upper and lower portions on the backside of the tread and put these on top of unfinished, semi rough wood on our basement stairs. They seem to be holding up well. I did run out of tape by the time I got to the last step but had enough to run one strip through the middle and made it work. I’m sure the instructions mentioned this but of course I don’t read those. What was semi frustrating was that there seemed to be a thin plastic layer on the bottom each pad that you need to peel off before them applying the tape. There is a small piece with an arrow on the corner of each tread to peel this extra layer off but that piece is separately taped on top of this extra layer and peeled off without pulling the plastic backing making it impossible to remove the extra plastic layering. In other words, lots of peeling and lots of plastic waste that is unnecessary and causes extra steps on the install process. This extra piece of plastic layering could just be left on and honestly I’m not sure of the point of it.I did end up having an extra tread or two which will be good to have on hand when and if I ever need to replace one.Overall, these are good and do their job.

Easy to install and nice under the feet when using the stairs.

Nice but not super sticky
I needed to replace the current carpet on the steps down to my basement. I got these and began to lay them down soon realizing that they aren't very sticky. I was hoping for a stick to the point where your fingers almost don't come off the back. They almost immediately lifted in the center where they were folded. I'm hoping as time goes on and we continue to walk on them that they will adhere. If not, I may need to get a glue paste to help. They look nice other than that. I wish I could give them a higher rating but as it is currently, I don't see these lasting.

Dog is happy, so are we
Bought these to give dog better traction on wood stairs. Very comfortable for human feet too. Like that they are very thin. A thicker pad could feel very disconcerting for humans using the stairs if your foot extends off the pad. Just wish I had gotten them before the nervous dog had scratched up the stairs digging her claws in for traction! Also wish they were available in a set of 16. Had to buy two sets to have enough for top landing as well as each step! (Dog was afraid to get started down the steps without better traction on the top landing!) Luckily found them "used", so price was better! Most likely someone who returned them due to the fold from packing. Crease at center disappears with use. We do have a landing where the stair turns, and I was a bit worried I would need a set with a larger landing mat, but a regular stair tread looks fine at the edge of the landing.Applied them near front edge of step since that's where the dog steps and they have not moved at all! I did clean the stairs before applying them so that they would adhere well. Some have lifted up a tiny bit at the ends of the pads, but that may be because I bought them used so the sticky backing on some wasn't entirely pristine where they plastic coating may have been peeled back previously. They do collect dog hair, so it is a little more work to clean the steps. I got the dark brown with random light fibers mixed in, and that mixture of colors does help to hide some of the lighter colored dog hair. I have not tried washing them yet, but since I had to buy two sets, I have plenty of replacements! They do seem to lift off the stairs without any residue when I peel them back.

Love
My stairs needed some love and my pockets were stingy. So these were perfect. Reduced the squeaking coming up and down the stairs and made it look cuter and less slippery. They weren’t as sticky as I thought they’d be but that’s good because they will probably come off easily. There is only one spot that the corner wouldn’t stay down but I think that was my cats doing and the more we walk on it, the better it sticks.

Doesn’t work on unfinished stairs
We bought these for our unfinished basement so that we don’t get splinters in our feet. The adhesive wore off in one week. We bought anti slip rug protectors to help but they still don’t stay in place. They may work better on different flooring but from our experience , they aren’t effective or safe.

Very Good Product
I ended up having to use the supplied tape. I must have gone a bit heavy because only had enough tape for 10 steps. We bought to help with traction on the stairs for elderly dogs and without the tape they were moving them. That being said, our stairs are 80+years so a bit worn. Tape worked great. Overall very pleased, they seem very durable and looks nice.
