Glencairn Single Whisky Glass in Printed Gift Carton

At last - the perfect glass for beholding, nosing and tasting your whisky. If you've been using tumblers or nosing glasses (copitas) for years, you'll know the limitations of these two types of glass for whisky. Now comes the Glencairn Whisky Glass (it won the Queen's Award for Innovation in 2006) and it gives you a perfect tapering at the top for nosing, and a nice, big bowl below that enhances tasting. This is combined with good, solid bulk at the very bottom to give you that sturdiness I've always enjoyed with a tumbler, but which is lacking in thin-stemmed nosing copitas. I always use a Glencairn glass for a dram. It offers the best experience for nosing and tasting, it's a bit of a ritual for me depending on the whisky I let it rest for a minute for each year,10 years in the cask 10 minutes in the glass.

If you like your neat spirits like whiskey this is a good option. The glass came in a small very nice box that described the origin of the glass, had a few key notes/steps to why the glass is the way it is and how to appreciate the alcohol in it. As well as bubble wrapped and very clean and in great condition. Haven’t used this long term but so far would recommend

I enjoy the odd dram of scotch and got fed up of having it in a cheap Ikea glass. After watching some whisky reviews on Youtube I noticed they all used the same type of glass, I looked into what glass this was and it turned out to be the Glencairn so I thought I'd give one a go. In arrives in a simple but smart enough box, making it very giftable, and the glass itself feels nice in the hand. When I poured the first drink into it I noticed straight away that the narrower top lip of the glass is obviously there to focus the aroma from the scotch, I could smell so much more from it which was nice. I'm really pleased with this purchase, I've finally got a glass deserving of a decent single malt and its also reasonably priced.

Vasos-copa , para degustación I cata de Whisky , principalmente whisky ESCOCES , en sus distintas variedades , evidentemente también puede usarse para otros whiskys ; el cristal es de calidad ,el diseño casi perfecto ,adecuado al uso esperado ; son muy bonitos a la vista , el envio estaba muy bien protegido y cada vaso-copa estaba colocado en una cajita individual muy bien presentada.
