This gin alternative is the best brand of those I have tried. Admittedly it’s been a while since I tasted a real gin and tonic but sipping a tall iced drink made with a healthy splash of this with some light tonic and maybe a garnish or two is a delightful way to keep a clear head while enjoying the company of family and friends!

If this is the best non-alcoholic gin spirit the industry has to offer, we’re all trapped in Gin Lane hell. This stuff tastes like florida water, with some used sink water and a lemon twist. These companies are praying on people trying to get away from alcohol, and serving bunk stuff in a faux booze bottle. You’re better off with some celery juice with ginger and lime. Some legit company will figure out the virgin spirit formula at some point and make a killing.

As I've been experimenting with many different zero-alcohol spirits in determining what to stock my business with, I have to say that this is probably the best London Dry Gin substitute that I've found so far. Makes a pretty damn good martini and really blends well in a Tom Collins!

This is very slightly citrusy a little bit of piney aroma and the rest 98% is water. This will never make anything close to a martini. Maybe the other flavored versions are more fun, But first light NLL should not be bought to make a martini mocktail…

Something that's not gin will never taste like Tanqueray. That aside, drinking this with a lite splash of vermouth makes for an interesting Martini. The jury is still out on a garnish (olive, onion, or a lemon). The start is quiet clean, but the finish is subtlety smart. It's like meeting someone who appears quiet simple, but smoothly unwraps to be pleasantly and congenially complex.

This gal likes control and alcohol bearing substances threaten that feel. Along comes a 'mocktail' Gin and Tonic made with First Light. I was pleasantly surprised by the herbal flavors and the stay-in-control feeling even after 2 drinks!

I had purchased this as it was described as being one of the most juniper-forward non-alcoholic spirits out there and was disappointed to find that not only is the flavor itself extremely weak (to the point where it tastes mild when consumed straight, let alone mixed) but the juniper is seemingly totally absent. The most present note is a limey citrus with an undertone of very mild ginger. Altogether, if mixing a mock gin and tonic I have to use more than double the amount I usually would to get the flavor to peek through at all, and even then it gets somewhat overwhelmed by the quinine of the tonic water. Better than just drinking tonic water on its own, but only just barely, and the description of it having notes of juniper at all was just outright false. I was not expecting it to taste like actual gin, but I was expecting it to taste like *something* at least. To add to this, the bottle was shipped with no packing material, loose in a box. The first bottle broke in transit and created a lengthy order cancellation process, which I have still not received a refund for. The second bottle miraculously arrived safe and sound but had zero void fill to prevent rolling around in the box and wasn't marked "fragile" or even "liquid" on the outside of the package at all, which is just absurd. Overall a very big disappointment. I'll finish this bottle but doubt I'd purchase it again, especially with the shoddy shipping.

I like old Tom style gin. And no, this does not taste like that. BUT I can make a really enjoyable NA cocktail with it. Probably my favorite of the ones I’ve tried so far. I mix this with 2 dashes flavored bitters (grapefruit if I can find it), a squeeze of lime and tonic water. Lovely!

I love gin; all gin; I love Cornish gin. But 'New London Light' by Salcombe Distilling Company is the Emperor's New Clothes of alcohol-free spirits (it's even worse than Sipsmith's alc-free, which is an achievement). It is brilliantly marketed, fowl-tasting water that someone left something horrid in for an hour. Save yourself a LOT of money (it's ridiculously expensive, especially when you remember, there's no Alcohol Duty on it!!) - buy something else! The 'distiller' refused to accept their water back, but the supplier was wonderful - no trouble, fully refunded.

Ich bin absolut positiv überrascht. Schmeckt nach London Dry Gin und gut auf Eis mit Tonic. Zugegeben etwas süß, trotz zuckerfreiem Tonic. Natürlich ist der Geschmack weniger intensiv als bei 'echtem Gin', liegt aber schlicht daran dass kein Alkohol als Geschmacksträger vorhanden ist. Eine super Alternative wenn man mal keinen Alkohol trinken möchte. Bestelle ich definitiv wieder.

Unfortunately this bottle had a use by date of the 22nd May, 2022 and arrived on the 26th May, 2022 so I was not able to try it and cannot send it back and cannot drink it. I tried the two other blends for the same producer and they were delicious and had a use by date of November 2022. What can you do to rectify my problem?

Very disappointed. Weak flavour which tastes like diluted lemon juice. Do not buy this.

I am so disappointed, as a non drinker, I was excited to get this but it is just very expensive bottled water.
