Highly recommended!
I bought these for my husband as a birthday gift. This is his review: I've had my eye on the Corair ST100 headphone stand for quite some time now, but I just never pulled the trigger. Recently my wife surprised me with one for my birthday. It's been an awesome gift, and it will be my pleasure to tell you about it. It's packaged fully assembled. The box has the stand, a USB 3.1 cable for connecting to your computer, and some instructional pamphlets. The build quality of the stand is solid--in an "ideal for home defense" kind of way. You're not going to break this thing unless you're trying to. The bottom of the stand's base is rubberized to keep it from scooting around on your desk, and it's hefty enough that it won't tip over. The top rest is wide enough to accommodate a multitude of headphone styles. While the stand needs one of your computer's USB ports in order to operate, it gives you two USB ports back: one in the top of the base (where a wireless dongle could call home) and one in the right side (where a charging cable might go), next to the familiar 3.5mm audio jack. While Corsair could have taken a page from Apple and made this stand only work with Corsair headphones, it's brand-agnostic. Use whatever you've got. It'll very likely work! I'm using a Corsair HS70 Bluetooth, so I look like a Corsair fanboy--which, of course, I am. You can certainly start using this headphone stand straight out of the box, but my recommendation (and Corsair's) is to visit their website and download the Corsair iCUE software. With iCUE, you can customize the stand's RGB lighting (including syncing with whatever theme your system is using). Since my stand is going to be used in a bedroom office space, I used iCUE to give me a gentle blue glow that shouldn't wreck anyone's sleep. iCUE also allows you to tweak the stand's onboard sound card--and this is where the real fun begins. Those of us who have been using headphones/headsets for awhile know that each manufacturer and design comes with a different voice. Some are boomy at the low end. Some are so harsh with treble they sound like scraping metal together. iCue lets you fix that with a graphic EQ. They even help out EQ newbies by giving you a few presets, and they're well worth playing with. Another audio tweak offered through iCUE is the virtual 7.1 surround sound option. I'm giving this its own paragraph because this feature really stands out. Most headphone virtual surround gimmicks sound like gimmicks, but this? On my maiden voyage, I fired up "Predator." During Dutch's cat-and-mouse confrontation with the alien, I was in awe. If the alien was in front of the camera, those gurgling clicks it makes were in my face. When the alien was supposed to be behind the camera, I'll be darned if that isn't where I heard him. Next up was "Saving Private Ryan" and the opening beach landing scene. Bullets zinged and ricochets ringed, yet dialog was never swallowed. I will note that the virtual 7.1 sounds best when your source audio is as close to that as possible--it doesn't work very well for stereo tracks. Still, it's an impressive magic trick considering your ear cans are only one speaker each. I get the feeling I'll be watching more movies on my PC than I do in our living room because of this. It's a very well-built and stylish headset stand. Corsair has established itself as a manufacturer of high-quality products, and they've really knocked it out of the park with this one. Highly recommended!

High Quality Headset Stand!
If you are looking for a headset stand, look no further. I fell in love with this as soon as I took it out of the box. I was immediately impressed with how high quality it felt. The body of this headset stand is made from aluminum and has a decent weight to it, so it won’t fall over easily. The base underneath the stand consist of a non-slip rubber which prevents it from sliding away. The stand does include a USB 3.1 to Micro-B connector to power the unit. This cable is 6 feet long enabling you to easily place your stand. The stand includes two USB 3.1 Inputs. One is located in the middle of the base and the other is located on the right side of the base. The middle USB input is perfect to place your dongle for your Corsair headset (or any other USB headset you may have)! Also on the right side of the base is a 3.5mm headset input which provides 7.1 virtual surround sound. You can control the features for the 7.1 virtual surround sound via Corsair Utility Engine as well as any equalizer settings for the headset you have connected to the 3.5mm input. The 7.1 virtual surround sound is only for the 3.5mm jack. Now onto the RGB lighting. It’s incredibly cool to look at when it is on. It lights up all around the base and as well as the Corsair Logo. You can customize your lighting settings via the Corsair Utility Engine Software. There are 8 presets to get you started or you can create your own. If you own any other Corsair products, you know exactly how to use the CUE to light it to your liking. Overall this is a high quality, durable headset stand that lights up any color you can think of. Simply put, it’s awesome!

Excellent product overall- mind the placement top back corners are sharp
This thing is great and worth every penny. The stand is quality, lighting looks great and goes with the mousepad and ram color themes. The iCue software makes it easy to control the lighting and virtual surround it comes with. Sockets: 2x usb 3.1 gen 1 and 3.5mm analog for those of you who may use that (the 7.1 virtual surround will give the analogue jack that nice sound) My main thing was to have a place to hang my headphones and clear up extra wires off the desk. I plug my hyperx headset into the top upward facing usb which looks really clean. If you're worried about the cable sticking strate up, plug it into the base on the right side. Someone mentioned that there are some edges on back that are sharp- it's the actual rear top corners. As the other review stated they can scratch your case or monitor so make sure to place it in a good spot. Cable quality is great- the usb cable is thicker and high quality. Cost felt a little too high when I ordered it, but once out of the box it changed my mind. Overall I gave it 5 stars and mainly because it frees up usb ports and build quality. Price was a little high, but I dont regret how much I paid. It looks great.

Worth the extra cost for ambiance - Might knock out audio but easy fix explained
This is more of a want than a need purchase in order to complete your desk/pc setup look & feel. Any headset stand could work fine but the LEDs, audio quality, and solid construction of this stand make it worth the cost. The stand is metal and has some weight to it. The entire bottom side has a no slip cover on it. Those two aspects combined keep this stand study in place and no worry of toppling over or sliding around on your desk. The LEDs look nice and have many color and display options through iCue software. You can customize the individual sections of lights, the blinking patterns, and color schemes. It can be totally customized to match your setup. The one annoyance I had with this is once you plug in and update drivers, it might set the stand as your audio output. If it does, this will knock out your speakers or headset from playing sound. You will have to go into system sound settings through your control panel and disable the device for sound. I am not sure how this will affect audio being used with 3.5mm jack but if you have a headset plugged into the usb on the stand, it might not play without disabling the device in sound settings. This was a very easy fix but took a minute to figure out what the issue was.

Gorgeous Headset Stand that doubles as a USB Extender/Hub
This is a very well built Headset stand and does offer additional functionality that other cheaper headset stands do not. While the aesthetics are pleasing with its RGB aura and durable metal body, there are also additional ports that make this better than most. I love the included USB ports and end up using it a lot more than i expected. I use this stand primarily with a wireless headset i have, and i just plug its dongle into the usb port on this stand. Makes for the perfect setup and range, especially if you're limited with USB ports available on your PC. The reason i am taking this down to 4 stars is: you can only plug this into your PC with the included cable, which is not a standard one that is easy to find in case you lose/damage the included one. This is a bummer, fortunately i am really careful with my stuff, but i dont understand how in an MSRP of $59.99 Corsair couldnt figure out how to use a micro usb port instead of the proprietary one they used. Another small thing that some people may have an issue with is that this isnt really functional when using it with a wired paired of headphones. It doesn't look "nice or cool" with wires hanging around it and there is no place to really mount the cable. For that reason i purchased a separate cheaper $10 stand that had holes to plug the ends of your headset cable (3.5mm) into so it would look neat and organized.

It's worth the higher cost for a premium look!
Absolutely LOVE this premium headphone stand! It has a nice weight that doesn't feel cheap. The logo lights up which is a nice touch. The RGB lighting is the main reason why I purchased this. I have a new iMac and I was hesitant when purchasing this at first because I thought there was a possibility that the lighting effect would not work. The regular rainbow lighting works when plugged into the iMac's USB port just fine. However, there is no way to change the lighting colors and use other main features due to the fact that Corsair does not support the Mac OS. Hopefully in the future there will be a way to use Corsair software on the Mac platform. The price is higher than most headphone stands but it is justified as the stand really stands out and brings your desk set up to life! The colors are vibrant, which was very surprising! Do yourself a favor and give it a shot!

Solid structure, not too heavy.
The Corsair ST100 RGB Premium is a solid piece for your desk. However expensive for what it's worth, it is worth every penny. The steel used in it's construction is well-made and is very unlikely to bend or break, and is phenomenal for what it's worth. I've paired it with the Corsair Virtuoso Pro and I've never seen a sight more beautiful to behold. Corsair's iCue software, when paired with the ST100, give you full control of 9 individually addressable RGB lighting zones. My only complaint is that the RGB LEDs used in the ST100 are lacking in the brightness department; the LEDs are closer to the K55 membrane keyboard's level of brightness, and I think they could definitely use a rework. However, they still change color seamlessly, and you can change the zones to whatever lighting pattern or theme you want, whether it's all purple, lightning-themed, or even all dark, with no RGB on at all for the days you're just not feeling it. The ST100 also comes with two USB output hubs, both USB 3.0. Handy, in case you wanted to plug in your wireless headphones into the dock to charge while keeping your dongle connected. I currently have the top USB port used for the dongle, and the side port being used for my standalone microphone. The coolest part for me, personally, is the RGB Corsair logo on the stem of the piece, flexing the badge on my almost $500 Corsair-themed desktop. 10/10, very impressive, Corsair. I can't wait to snag some LT100s for a bit more ambiance in the atmosphere.

The Kind of Purchase You Need
I am a console gamer and I still find great use in this. I just recently got the stealth 600s and this stand not only looks amazing but serves the purpose I need Got it plugged into the back if my xbox and my headsets cord connected to the base so as needed I can charge my headset and prevent an wear and tear having it just lay idle on my entertainment center The way I have it positioned I can easily see the green light indicator when its complete charge so I can just unplug it seamlessly and avoid over charging Only downfall I had found is color changes dont seem to save after tweaking on a PC. A quick fix could always be have it connected to my PC.. but for me personally I only use the PC to occasionally work from home every once in a while. So even without the custom color setup this still gets 5 stars. If the colors is the big selling point I assume it's still a 4.5 out of 5 easily

Bonito

Excellent
Solid, sturdy and beautiful. No problem incorporating with iCue and my other Corsair devices. Finally a RGB headphone stand that remembers its' settings! the 2 USB 3.0 ports are also nice compared with the 2.0 found in lesser stands. It's pricy but I like it.
