Elle TENS Hire Service - 7 Week Rental for Maternity Pain Relief

It helped my wife a lot during labour!

I hired this TENs machine and needed it the following day due to another TENs machine I had been promised not available. The seller sent the TENs straight away. It was well packaged, had spare batteries included and easy to follow instructions. It was neat and compact and fitted in the hospital bag without taking up much room. It was soooo useful during active labour. I ended up being induced and on the oxytocin drip. I what wanted as natural a birth as possible so decided to see how long I could go just using the TENs for pain relief. I found it a really good distraction and I liked the fact that there was a boost button, to help me focus more on the tingling sensation rather than the contractions. I also liked the fact that the Elle TENs had levels and it went up to 15 I think. This meant that I didn’t crank it up too soon and it was good to know I could always increase the settings if needed. I found the TENs so effective I didn’t need any pain relief and I delivered my baby 6 hours after active labour had started. I liked the fact that I had enough time to send the unit back post birth without being rushed and that a return envelope was included. Hiring the Elle TENs was one of the best decisions I made re my pregnancy and labour and for me was really worthwhile. It distracted me/allowed me to focus sufficiently that I gave birth naturally and drug free, for which I am incredibly grateful for.

Great service. Although the device was not the right fit for my wife the service was great: there were several manuals how to use it and even batteries inside which really helped in an urgent moment! Return was easy too since there is already a paid envelope inside

Honestly fantastic. This was my second birth having had an epidural with my first and I got to 8cm using the TENS and the birthing comb. My midwife said it was the one they used and recommended in the NHS too. It was packaged and easy to return.

Great service! Delivered exactly at 37 weeks. Comes with all the paperwork and simple instructions to return once you are done. I must admit I haven’t used it yet as I’m still waiting for my baby to come along but I’m glad to have this in my hospital bag ready for when I need it. I would highly recommend the hire of a machine as it’s much better value than purchasing one.

Fantastic product and service. Definitely recommended. Arrived promptly and was really useful in early labour. Purchased some extra pads to practise using the different settings in late pregnancy, and it was helpful with backache.
