Dr. Marten's Original 1460 Patent, Women's Boots

I can't say I'm not already loving these after just a couple of hours of wearing them and walking around! They fit brilliantly (I always use my EU size for any shoes and go off of that - size 39) and they are SO comfortable, supportive and lightweight. These are fantastic quality leather and I'm glad I finally took a leap to get this brand name - great value for money! I had Docs years ago (er... 28 years ago) and these are just as wonderful, comfortable and fashionable as back then. These will be shoes getting worn with jeans, work trousers and dresses, as they fit the bill for smart and casual. ❤️ For this type of leather (patent leather), vaseline as polish is great for keeping the shoes in longer service, so I will be babying these shoes.

Lovely boots. Fit in the length as expected with docs they are really tight around the top of the foot where the tongue is sewn into the shoe. They can be really uncomfortable to break in but once you have they fit like a glove. I don't have the patience to break them in the traditional way so I used damp newspaper stuffed really tight under the tongue part and let it dry, they stretched nicely and they're fine after that. I have the 1460's in purple and they are not as tight (I had to get a size smaller in fact) but the 1460W what these ones are and means women's and are narrower than the unisex 1460's. overall though I love them and they go with anything.

My wife loves them, shame she’s had to wait 65 years to get a pair. But very comfortable and sturdy!!!

These are sooooo lovely - just got them this morning - I am 40 something and used to wear DMs loads when I was younger - recently got plantar fasciitis so cant wear heels at the moment (not that I do a lot) - anyhow - love them, need breaking in a bit - but will be great with maxi dresses and leggings etc - and they are so lovely and shiny!! wish I could wear them with work suits but I am guessing work may have something to say about that. Really happy (and I did think I may look like mutton dressed as lamb but even my kids like them on me)

Very disappointed, boots ripped next to seam above the heel, contacted legend footwear after reading on doc martens Web site, stating boots have " a lifetime guarantee". Poor after sales service who refused a replacement because of wear and tear. Unfortunately for my daughter it more tear than wear and 4 months is a very short lifetime guarantee. Apparently the boots are now mass produce in China with Quality declining, but I'm sure the profit is more than satisfactory as they weren't worth their £145 price tag.

The boots are great! They indeed run a bit bigger, so UK6 is more like 39,5 EU, but this is OK. And after the first day of wearing their hard lacquered leather became softer and comfortable, however could not avoid getting two new corns :) What I was not very happy with (and took 1 star off) is the color: it's not red, but rather crimson, although in the yellow-light lamps and dim light it does seem like red, but in the daylight it's crimson or even bright pink. The difference between my "true red" lacquered bag and the boots can be well seen on photo with the flashlight, the second photo is without flash where the difference is not so obvious, but the camera just does not give the same picture as human eyes. I even thought that I have got "Red Rouge" colour model instead of Red, but the box says it's "RED". But still I love them and hope they will serve me long :)

Excellent quality and arrived before Christmas

I bought these boots for my 12 year old daughter for high school. My elder daughter has a pair too. They never wear out and are good for their feet and posture. And very trendy too! I find them to be a fairly generous fit - my daughter is officially a 5 and a half, so the size 6 gives her plenty of room to grow in. Very good price on Amazon and delivered very quickly.

I love these boots and get so many compliments! I was nervous about the patent leather getting scuffed easily, but haven't had any issues so far. They are really well made and durable. I've had them almost 2 months, worn them a lot, and they still look brand new - even on the soles. They are quite stiff, so they take a little more breaking in than most shoes I've had. They also squeak when you walk at first, but that goes away after a few weeks of wear.

Die Martens sind einfach optisch ein absoluter Knaller. Ich trage normalerweise 41-42 und habe keine schmalen Füße und 42 sitzt hier optimal. Ich habe auch keine Probleme mit dem Einlaufen gahbt, im Gegenteil, nach 5 Minuten waren die Boots superbequem. Momenatan quietschen sie noch, aber ich denke, das gibt sich (hoffentlich :) ).

Love these..got compliments everywhere I went until my dog chewed them up. Will plan on buying another pair

These were for my girlfriend. She LOVES these Martens. She not only wears them everywhere, but also brags about them with her friends. She cannot stop praising how comfortble they are. Additionally: they fit great and as usual with Docs, they might outlive us. They might be pricy, but trust me. Everyone will like these.

Ho comprato le scarpe con un po’ di titubanza riguardo le taglie, quindi sono andata direttamente in negozio a provarle e poi ho ordinato esattamente il mio numero, 38: calza perfettamente. La suola è morbidissima e super confortevole, solo sotto i polpacci sono da ammorbidire leggermente, ma niente che non si possa risolvere indossandole. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente, un’ottima scarpa a un prezzo perfetto.
