Suatien Mulberry Silk Pillow Cases 2 Pack Standard Size, Gray

Gorgeous pillowcases! Very nicely made, and intensely black in colour. I love the zipper closure; I don't think I can go back to fold-over closures ever again. The zipper keeps the case in place, which is great because otherwise it'd slip right off the pillow. They fit well on standard size pillows; if you use a memory foam pillow they might not fill out to all the edges, but it doesn't matter since the zipper keeps the pillow from sliding out. If your pillow is REALLY puffy, it make take a little effort to stuff 'em in, but it's worth it. If you have a cooling pillow, these silk pillowcases really enhance the cooling effect somehow, really comfortable sleeping (especially in hot weather). I typically sleep in a bonnet, but that sometimes feels a bit oppressive and my head would like to breath at night, so these silk pillow cases are super helpful at keeping my hair protected while still being out and loose. They wash well on a delicate setting in cold water, and I always hang them to dry. I didn't experience any dye running in the wash, but I'm not sure if any dye may leach if sleeping on them with wet/damp hair, since I never do that to begin with, or if it is a particularly sweaty night. I don't think it will since nothing happened in the wash, but if staining the pillow is a concern, using a pillow protector or another pillowcase first, and then slipping on the silk one may help. Either way, I'll be getting more of these for sure!

I bought this because I wanted to try a silk pillowcase for my hair, and I’ve been really happy with it. I chose the Haze Blue color, and it’s beautiful in person. It also feels cool against my face, which has been especially nice during warmer weather. One thing that surprised me is how lightweight and delicate it feels compared to a regular pillowcase. It feels very luxurious and smooth to sleep on. I’ve also noticed that my hair looks better in the morning with less frizz and fewer tangles when I wake up. It is comfortable to sleep on, feels luxurious, and has made a noticeable difference in my hair. The cool feel, beautiful color, and reduced frizz have made it one of my favorite bedding upgrades.

This pillowcase is awesome. I bought mine about 14 months ago, use it almost every night (except when I’m washing it!), and it still looks brand new!! (The texture you see in the photo is my pillow, not the pillow case.) I bought this because I have curly hair. I had tried a different brand but it was just meh. The zipper closure on this brand is great if you’re like me and move around a lot in your sleep. The material feels smooth and luxurious and doesn’t snag like the other brand did. When I go back to my regular pillowcases, I can really tell the difference with my hair. The smooth material of these helps to keep my hair from frizzing out so much. I’ve been more than pleased with this pillowcase. And, it’s affordable! After over a year of constant use, I’m a total fan. I plan to buy more! Highly recommend!

This pillowcase delivers exactly what you’d expect in terms of feel—it’s very smooth, soft, and comfortable against the skin. The silky texture makes a noticeable difference compared to cotton, especially if you’re looking for something gentler on your face and hair. It stays cool throughout the night and feels lightweight, which adds to overall sleep comfort. Silk is known for reducing friction, which can help with hair frizz and skin irritation, making it a nice upgrade from standard pillowcases. The hidden zipper is a nice touch—it keeps the pillow secure and gives it a clean, polished look without anything sticking out. Pros: -Very smooth, silky feel -Comfortable and lightweight -Cooling effect during sleep -Hidden zipper keeps pillow in place Cons: -Requires gentle care when washing -Quality can vary depending on brand/momme weight Overall: A great choice if you want a soft, silky pillowcase that feels good on skin and hair. Simple, comfortable, and a noticeable upgrade from regular cotton.

These pillowcases are a silk-satin. That means that the inside of the pillowcase is dull and not super smooth, but the outside, where we place our skin and hair, is super satiny smooth. I have curly hair, and noticed after I got my first silk pillowcase that I could take a nap (not a usual activity for me), and when I got up, my curls were not a disaster like they are when I sleep on a cotton pillowcase. I ordered a purple one first, which was more of a dull aubergine, but still technically purple. I dye my hair purple, and the first week after the dye job (oVertone, great product) there is some color transfer on my white cotton pillowcases, but it washes out. So if the purple dye transfers to a purple silk pillow case, no big deal. So I got a second one. Finally, I decided to get a pair of white silk pillowcases. These are just as wonderful as the purple ones. I hand washed them and let them drip dry from soaking wet. I did press them because I am just like that. They are so fluid and liquid. Since I just got the white ones, I haven't had a chance to put them on my pillow, but tonight is the night. I sleep well on these, and my curls are still nice in the morning, which says to me that less damage is happening to my hair. The zipper on all 4 of my cases has been very functional and sturdy, so no complaints there. Let's talk about caring for these items. They ARE silk, and silk is fussy and the fibers will break in the washer and especially the dryer. If you choose to wash them like that, you should know what will happen. My silk cases have stained a bit from my nighttime moisturizer and the remnants of my eyeliner. (I probably wear too much, but I wear makeup for me, no one else.) Sometimes I will treat the eyeliner with blue Dawn, but it doesn't always work. But I knew this would happen, so I will live with it. My bedroom is not a public place, so if the pillowcases are not perfect, who cares? I use them for my face and my curls. Finally, I must say this. I have seen reviews with photos, and the photos show pillowcases ON THE PILLOW still with the shipping folds in the fabric. It looks like the buyer just took the pillowcase out of the package and put it on the pillow without washing it. Please don't do that. When any fiber item is made, whether a garment or a towel or bedding, the factory does NOT wash the fabric. The fabric is woven/spun/knitted, and put on bolts; the bolts are shipped to the factory where the item is made. The item is cut and sewn, then shipped to the vendor who ships it to the buyer. At no point is the fabric washed. That is why you should always wash anything that comes in contact with your skin: towels, bedding, underwear, etc. The factories, especially in China, do not put much effort into cleanliness. Rant over. These are great pillowcases. They are good for my skin and protect my purple curls.

## Review: Five Stars for Quality and Comfort I am beyond impressed with these silk pillowcases! After using them for a while, a few key features really stand out: * **Secure Zipper Closure:** The hidden zipper is a game-changer. It keeps the pillow perfectly tucked away and prevents that annoying "sliding out" that happens with traditional envelope-style cases. * **Stays in Place:** Unlike some silk products that feel too slick, these have just the right amount of grip. My pillows actually stay under my head throughout the night instead of migrating across the bed. * **Excellent Durability:** I’ve already put these through two wash and dry cycles. They’ve maintained their integrity and still look as brand new as the day I took them out of the packaging. * **Premium Feel:** The silk is incredibly soft and smooth against the skin, making for a much more comfortable and luxurious sleep experience. Plus, the color choices are amazing—it was easy to find a shade that looks perfect in the room. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance silk pillowcase that actually stays put and holds up in the laundry, these are a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

Why buy the very expensive Blissy pillow case when you have Mulberry Silk Pillowcase available?!?! I'm very happy with these pillowcases. Very soft, silky texture, washes very well, quality zipper. Helped my sleep and now I have less hair detanglement while I sleep.

Says silk everywhere but does not pass the burn test. Satin and higher quality than other satin, but definitely not silk. Disappointed in marketing. I do appreciate the color and the zipper for securing the pillow in. Did not have a chemical smell which is also great! Would recommend as SATIN, not silk

Ce n’est pas de la soie ou celle-ci est de très mauvaise qualité !!!! Du coup beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c’est !!!!!

This is super silky and lovely. Seriously so nice. But so slippery for me. Lol I felt like I was chasing my pillow around the whole night it was slip slidding away. My son now has it and loves it. Maybe on the sheets I have it made it way to slippery. My 9 yr old doesn't have the same problem. He loves it and won't give it back!!

Love the quality and softness . Hope it will rem sin after first wash
