Can i test a 12v lithium battery ?also can i test the alternator circuit?

I've only used the Foxwell BT705 to test 12V/200AH Luminous AGM battery bank for my 10KVA inverter system without any issue. I was quite satisfied with the results I got from testing all 15 batteries.

Does this work on a 6v battery

Not tried it on 6v, but it does say it's for 12v and 24v batteries, but it takes it's power from the battery, so if you hook it up to a 6v, it "shouldn't" damage either the battery or the unit.

Will this work with mobility scooter batters, starting from 12v 12amp gel battery’s?

Yes it should do. My car has two batteries one is a gel battery and tested ok. This is a good reliable machine
