How many minutes should a bottle last for mig? On thin steel?

I found that one of these lasted about 30 minutes. Straight C02 seemed to last twice that time

can you swop out these bottle before they're empty or do you have to use once fitted ?

Yes.I have swapped from an argon bottle to a co2, when I have changed the metal I am welding.

Sorry I can't technically help. I have neither M I G welded Stainless Steel nor Titanium, to date. However, a friend of mine is a Chartered Welder he may know the answer and may be able to answer your question. However, it will have to wait until after the wekend now. Can I assume that standard guages will not fit this bottle?

It's the same gauge for all bottles that size so if you have the ones for the big bottles then no they don't fit
