I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a bit more bass without buying a sub and separate amp, heavy and robust bit of kit that fits nicely under the seat. Its not a silly chav bass system but it creates just the right bass support, its out of the way and you don't even realise its there.

I wasn't expecting something so heavy. Really nicely made. Installation is as easy as can be expected. Just take your time, and follow the wiring diagram, paying careful attention to the lead routing, keeps away from steering and pedals, and make sure to use a grommet through the firewall for the power, if that lead chafes through, it'll ruin your day. Disconnect your negative pole on the battery before starting. I used high level input as my radio has no RCA outputs. Sound quality is great. It's not producing trouser-flapping amounts of bass, but gives a real lift to the bottom end. Set gain and cross-over and tweak over a few days, to optimise settings. The remote volume control is really useful, coping with different types of music.

For the price I can't complain. This does the job if you want to add a little low end and space is limited. It's not too difficult to install if you understand basic wiring. The sound quality isn't audiophile but it will improve any standard set up that lacks the low end. It has an adjustable crossover and gain controls on the unit itself, and an additional remote volume control. What's more it fits neatly under most car seats. You don't need to buy any additional equipment to get this going, all the wiring is also provided. Ok so maybe the bass isn't very tight, it's not going to compare to a 12 inch sub box booming insane levels of bass in your boot but it's an underseat space saving 6" woofer with a built-in amp (active) for less than £150, it is a massive improvement to standard car speakers. Personally I dial the crossover from my head unit (car stereo) as it has a sub out, this will give better results but you can use your factory stereo and wire in using the speaker connections on the back. It's never going to compete with a proper sub but it's nice and compact and provides the extra bass I was missing without breaking the bank. Edit: I've been using this unit for a while now and no complaints. I actually take the longer way home so I can enjoy the music 🎶

Some months ago I bought the 8" subwoofer. It was great so I decided to get a second for another vehicle. The listing now also included a 10" subwoofer so I bought that one instead. Sadly it is not up to the standard of the 8" one. It rattles badly at a reasonanble volume and only really plays one bass note. The build quality is also inferior to the 8" one. I can't recommend it. I'd have returned it if I'd not paid to have it installed, which involved the wires being cut, making it unreturnable. Buy the 8" one. It is built much more sturdily, does not rattle and plays a range of notes.

It won't dim your head lights or make your licence plate rattle when it drops but it sounds pretty good! Same as one of the other reviewers on this unit / I have a crew cab van and recently changed out the stock speakers and head unit (now get updated maps for free). It sounded okay but definitely needed a sub. This unit fills the gap in the sound stage and fits nicely under the driver's seat. As the other reviewer recommended I wired it up to the head units power supply ( didn't connect it to the battery only required 3 amps). As my head unit has a sub adjustment I didn't fit the remote. Should have done this a couple of years ago!

This is perfect to fill in the low bass notes of a standard factory install. It lacks the full range adjustment, so the crisp punch of a drum will will be out of its range, but the low rumble bass notes work well. For the money and ease of install, it is worth it. You can achieve a tidy install quiet easily.

I've always had large 12/15inch subs in hatch backs but having bought a tiny convertible I had no space. Purchased this little active sub as just missed the bass line of garage and dnb and placed it behind the seat. (MG TF) PUKKA! Love the bass reproduction for such a inexpensive sub and being only a small cone it's a nice frequency it produces. Really very pleased with it!

Spent some time installing it in a Land Rover Defender - the standard 4 inch speakers have absolutely no bass so I wanted something to provide an audible bottom end rather than a mobile disco. I was not disappointed. This unit is capable of some good bass but mounted to the rear bulkhead the whole thing vibrated horribly at full gain. Not the fault of the sub. What I was not prepared for was a sudden horrible bass droning, like you sometimes get as you plug in a signal lead but constantly, even when the volume was turned down on the head unit. The only thing which would stop it was to turn down the gain, which meant there was no bass. I have tried to report the fault to the manufacturer via their website but their e-mail link fails to send. Whether this is deliberate I don't know but as matters stand I have a sub I cannot use, hence the one star. Update 28 July 2016. When starting to remove the sub from the vehicle to return it to Amazon for a refund I decided to try connecting the black (earth return) lead direct to the battery rather than via the chassis. To my surprise the bass droning disappeared and I can now use the sub on full gain without problem, although if I do so the bass is oppressive. I'm now running on about 70% gain and still have a fairly good bass to the music and have to turn the gain down as the volume increases or the bulkhead starts vibrating again. I suspect the previous problem was down to a bad earth connection but as the manufacturers were not contactable I was unable to ask them, so I cannot award five stars and I have had a lot of needless problems, so three stars seems about right.

Installation du caisson dans un cabriolet. Se place parfaitement sous le siège. Très bon rendu de son. Les basses sont très profondes. L’audio du véhicule est nettement amélioré avec ce subwoofer. Toute la connectique est livrée. L’installation est facile. Le réglage du volume est pratique avec la télécommande filaire. Construction robuste. Je voulais acheter un sub Focal Ibus , plus cher et plus encombrant. Il n’aurait pas tenu sous le siège. Le modèle in phase est plus compact, moins cher et done vraiment de bonnes basses. Je suis très satisfait de cet achat.

Installé entre les deux sièges d'une Daihatsu Copen, il n'est pas très performant mais ajoute un petit plus, par contre il sature très vite si on lui demande beaucoup. Par contre je pense qu'il serait beaucoup trop léger dans un coffre ou dans une voiture trop grosse, déjà dans la Copen qui est minuscule je trouve qu'il est presque parfait mais un peu de manque de puissance mais dans une trop grosse ça n'irait pas. à réserver uniquement pour les petits véhicules
