Best of this style clamp. Both hands are needed to OPEN and HOLD THEM OPEN, and I'm no mama
These gray ones are the strong version of other similar being sold. I've done lots of heavy steel and stainless fabrication for years on shipboard seafood factories. The beauty of this style screw clamps is that these take just one hand to operate while trying to juggle parts that want to escape! AND, no rust transfer on stainless with their covered tips. These gray ones are the strongest that I would want to always use though, as it takes 2 hands to fully open these AND ONE STRONG HAND to hold them open while positioning parts, no joke. Just what I needed. Maybe the squirrels can’t eat these. They are a little stout for a old man but I’ll get used to them.

Jaw opening is 1 inch
These are decent clamps but the jaw opening in the description is incorrect. It’s actually 1 inch, not 4 as indicated. I’m planning on keeping them because they seem pretty decent quality and could use them for other things. The 3 stars is due to the incorrect description as that is the product I was Expecting.
