Great German screw drivers! The Philips are etched so that the screw will stay in place on the end of the screw driver. I have 3 sets of these, one for every tool box. These are comparable to the witte ( also excellent) but half the price. No more rounding edges or stripping screw heads. This set will cover you for most everything you will commonly use and last you a lifetime. And yes, there is a difference. You will throw your Walmart screw drivers away. They have a great grip, can use a wrench on them, and they are German steel and engineering. I have not stuck them in a 1000 volt socked to test that but I will take their word on it.

Even though this set of screwdrivers were very well built and comfortable, I returned them.They are all a somewhat smaller size.I had purchased them to replace my standard Sears Craftsmen set.I got a Klien set instead, which was just what I needed.

I am an electro-mechanical engineer and I have used Wiha screwdrivers for more than 20 years -d*mn, that made me feel old-. Ordered this set because one of my old ones (had them for more than 12 years) was "lost" and a couple of days ago, the small flat broke its tip a little so, I've said: time for a new set. I work with robotics and lots of CNC machines on a weekly basis at all types of industries (I travel almost every week to customer's sites all over the place) from medical to aerospace to food, defense and anything in between and these are by far my ONLY choice of screwdrivers, specially since one of them actually saved my life when an inspector cut my lock out/tag out lock while I was at lunch and didnt tell anybody. I've got hit with 480V at about 900amps but thanks to the insulation, it wasnt a full hit, which saved my life so after that (year 2001) these are the only ones I use because I know I can trust them. Now, they are known to be just what they are made to be: screwdrivers, they are NOT pry bars of any type or style, so if you think they can be used as such, even for something small, they will probably break and that's on you, not the brand or product.Big note: on the Amazon description it says that they are made in China, I've almost did not ordered them because of that but then, knowing how germans are I've told myself: they wont let the chinese slip, of that I am sure. I was VERY happy to see that they were actually made in Germany so, order with confidence! Wiha is still Wiha! :)

I love this set of screwdrivers. They are insulated and protect you against unintended contact with hot electrical lines or surfaces. They are tough for low voltage panel work. Wiha is a very good brand; I'm happy with the set.
