What's the colour temperature?

I THINK YOU WOULD DESCRIBE THE COLOUR TEMPERATURE AS DAYLIGHT. IT IS NOT AMBER OR WARM IN THE SLIGHTEST. IT IS VERY BRIGHT AND GIVES ME A HEADACHE IMMEDIATELY IF I LOOK DIRECTLY AT IT. CERTAINLY EFFECTIVE BUT DO SOMETHING ELSE WHILE YOU GET YOUR DAILY EXPOSURE I.E. READ, TYPE, CROSSWORD ETC.

Is this a warm yellow light or cool blue light?

Can you use this as a desk light?

YOU COULD USE IT AS A DESK LIGHT BUT AS A PART OF TREATMENT ONLY. YOU CAN OVERDOSE ON THIS LAMP SO ITS TO BE USED FOR A LIMITED PERIOD ONLY. IF IT IS TOO CLOSE, IT DOES CAUSE HEADACHE. YOU COULD HAVE IT ON THE DESK AS YOU ARE WORKING THOUGH AND TIME ITS USE ACCORDING TO YOUR NEED. I PLACE IT ON A TABLE IN FRONT OF ME AND DO CROSSWORD PUZZLES WHILE USING IT.

Fantastic customer support.

Great product. Light and easily portable with a soft bag in which to carry it. I used it daily until sadly it stopped working, but on contacting lightherapist they replaced it immediately free of charge without any quibbles.

I love this although my partner will not use it for it's intended purposes it makes a lovely lamp on a evening as you can adjust the brightness

Not as bright as I thought but good.

It’s a great device and portable but the brightness isn’t as bright as I thought. It IS the lux that is stated if you sit 10cm away from your eyes. I checked with a lux level. However, unlike sunlight, just move a coullle more inches away and the lux drops dramatically. You would get a lot more from basking in sunlight for 5 mins each morning, but who has that option right? I find it a really nice desk light that I sometimes position towards my face for wakefulness and sometimes towards my works for better light. Overall a good product, just not as good as the sun.

Light in the darkness

Great lamp - really portable and easy to use. Much better than my giant old light box. Makes sense to use LEDs rather than bulbs.

Absolutely wonderful

This lamp is perfect for those suffering with seasonal affective disorder (SAD) twinned with a good vitamin D tablet daily you will feel yourself again in no time. I can vouch that this product really does work I've seen the results first hand. And I'm very happy. I cannot recommend this item highly enough!
