SMALLRIG Super Clamp with Ballhead mount for Camera Monitor, LED light - 1124

Smallrig products always perform well and this one is no exception. Good clamping and range of adjustment. Holds a bridge camera without slipping and I have used it to support lighting and other cameras. Good quality materials used in the build along with precision engineering gives an item that will withstand a lot of use.

The engineering and finish on these small all-metal clamps is excellent. They are very strong and suitable for mounting video lights, small monitors , mics or hanging scrims and reflectors on poles, tripod legs, desks, chairs, shelves, doors, fences etc. I use mine to fix video lights to the picture rail which has a lip so the clamps grip nicely. The small ball mounts supplied are also nicely made but you might need to buy ones with a bigger ball to mount heavier items. You also get a cold shoe screw plate to mount in place of the ball mount but it has only a short 1/4 screw thread so you can't get two thumb wheels on it to tighten to the clam and cold shoe on your kit. Fortunately I have larger ones with 2 thumb wheels so I can use those when needed. There is also a larger screw socket in the clamp so it will screw onto a standard mic stand 3/8 inch thread - enabling you to clamp say a scrim or reflector to the stand. Very versatile.

This is a well made device that has oodles of grip. I think the ball head is a bit light for a DSLR with a decent lens on it, but fine for bridge or compact cameras. The clamp part is excellent, and has both 3/8" and 1/4" threaded holes, so I just fitted a large quality ball head to it, sorted.

Excellent quality (mainly metal) and very useful for providing a secure camera mount to poles and other fixtures. I bought it to attach to an anglepoise microphone stand which is then used to hold a small digital microscope/camera for electronics work. I would expect years of use from this and will be looking out for more products from the same make.

Bought to clamp a phone holder to a shelf, to take photos of things sat on a desk. The clamp is nice and sturdy, got some nice weight to it, being all metal you feel i'' never break, way way better than the cheaper plastic ones, One of those purchases where paying a little more gets you way better quality, and something you'll likely still be using in 20 years time

I've tried many a devise to attach a Gopro to my Bike Handlebars but this clamp tops them all,it took less than 2 minutes to put on bike and with Gopro and also the Volta attached to the clamp it was going nowhere. Also you can adjust the ball head to the desired angle you want. Overall great value for money and well worth a 5 Star rating from myself

Ho acquistato il SMALLRIG Super Clamp Mount con Adattatore Artiglio a Sfera e Cool Morsetto (modello 1124) circa un mese fa, e devo dire che è diventato uno dei miei accessori preferiti per le riprese video e fotografiche. Come videomaker freelance, cerco sempre strumenti che uniscano praticità e affidabilità, e questo morsetto supera di gran lunga le mie aspettative. Partiamo dalla semplicità di utilizzo, che è davvero il suo punto di forza assoluto. Il design è intuitivo: il morsetto si apre e chiude con una sola mano grazie alla vite a piolo ergonomica, e le ganasce gommate interne garantiscono una presa salda su tubi, aste o superfici da 15 a 40 mm senza graffiare nulla. Non serve manualistica o esperienza pregressa; in meno di 10 secondi, l'ho fissato al mio stativo o al manubrio della bici per riprese POV con la GoPro. L'adattatore artiglio a sfera ruota di 360 gradi e si blocca con una sola manopola, permettendo regolazioni precise senza strumenti extra. Ho testato il carico massimo con un monitor LCD da 1 kg e una action cam, e resta stabile senza vibrazioni, grazie al giunto sferico rinforzato che distribuisce il peso uniformemente. Include una vite da 1/4"-20 e una chiave esagonale per montaggi personalizzati, tutto imballato in una custodia compatta. È un oggetto costruito per durare anni, non un gadget usa e getta. Ma ciò che mi ha davvero conquistato è la versatilità di utilizzo. Questo clamp è un jolly per qualsiasi setup: lo monto su ombrelli per luci LED, su scaffali per time-lapse, su traverse per monitor esterni con la mia Canon EOS, o persino su ganci per riprese creative con droni. L'adattatore cool shoe permette di agganciare microfoni o torce, mentre la sfera compatibile con sistemi RAM lo rende espandibile all'infinito. L'ho usato per vlog urbani, sessioni di fotografia still-life e persino per fissare un tablet in auto per navigare – ovunque, si adatta senza problemi. Supporta pesi fino a 2-3 kg senza flessioni, e la rotazione fluida lo rende ideale per angolazioni dinamiche. In sintesi, il SMALLRIG Super Clamp Mount è un investimento che eleva il mio workflow, rendendolo più veloce, sicuro e creativo.
