Garnier Nutrisse Truly Blonde Pre-Lightener +

I have to say this stuff is brilliant. For some background on my hair; for the last year I have been having highlights, then I went to a different hairdresser who left my roots very orange. I hates the colour so much I put a red over it and then a dark brown. This was 2 months ago. After a lot of deliberation I decided I wanted to go blonde again, however knew that no salon would be willing to do it for me, and also that I was very likely to damage my hair massively (I have previously fried my hair with 40volume bleach resulting in me having to have a chemical haircut). Anyway I purchased this as it had good reviews. The results were incredible. I only left it on for approximately 20 minutes to reduce damage and it lifted my hair to yellow blonde, something I have never been able to achieve by bleaching myself. The condition this left my hair in was also great, as other reviewers have said the damage was no worse than with a non bleaching colour. I'd also used 2 colour removers previous to using this with no effect, and will always purchase this if I ever want to go light from dark. I've attached before and after pictures to show the results.

First time buying this so was cautious with the lightening power. I don't want to go full blonde (as it suggests could happen on dark brown hair) so only applied one sachet. The result's nice! I now have a very warm brown, about 2 shades from a honey blond colour, think I might have got closer if I applied two sachets! I coloured my hair mahogany brown before and it ended up too dark on my original colour. Now Nutrisse blonde makes a very good pre-lightener for that! Will definitely buy again.

My hair was dyed dark brown and it's the exact same colour as it was.

Great stuff! My hair was dark brown and had loads of left over red from a previous dye. The pre lightener has lifted all of that and has gone a lovely light colour, it's obviously a little orange at the ends though. One thing I would say though, if you are asthmatic or have lung problems I wouldn't use this without really good ventilation, it's very strong smelling and made me wheezy.... But my hair feels and looks good!

Very good pre lightener, I had dyed my hair several times previous to using this. Always dark brown. My hair was a mixture of colours but it lifted it to a blonde base ready for a new colour. It does take and hour or so but it worth it.

AMAZING PRODUCT!!! over a long period of time, I have used 4 boxes of this product to lift my hair from dyed black hair to light blonde (my natural colour). It has worked phenomenally! Even though bleaches like bblonde are super effective in a couple of goes, I wanted to use this as it seemed like it would be gentler on the hair. It was perfect! Not only did it lift about 2½ levels at a time, but it left a gorgeous tone, and soft undamaged hair, after every use. I could not recommend this product enough!!
